Norfolk Tulips, Kings Lynn

One of the most notable Norfolk flower fields and the UK’s only tulip field, Norfolk Tulips in Kings Lynn opens to the public for 2 weeks of the year to raise money for charity. It is one of the most photographed spots in the UK, and this impressive flower field has even recently made a star appearance in one of the most famous movies to grace our screens – Wicked. Its 9 million blooms played a starring role in the blockbuster and were found by the director coming across a viral video of the candy-coloured fields on social media.
Every spring, this vibrant field bursts into a kaleidoscope of colour as rows upon rows of tulips bloom in perfect formation, creating a truly magical sight. Located in the heart of the countryside, the tulip fields draw visitors, photographers and flower lovers from all over due to its allure and movie magic. Ha Ha Farm, Strumpshaw

Ha Ha Farm has become a firm favourite among horticulture lovers thanks to its vibrant and cheerful pick-your-own sunflower fields – it's a true summer highlight in Norfolk. Nestled in the Norfolk countryside, the field bursts into a golden bloom each August, attracting families, photographers, and nature seekers alike. Visitors are invited to wander through the sea of sunflowers, handpick their own stems, and create a bouquet bursting with sunshine. Due to its growing popularity, Ha Ha Farm has recently expanded with a second site at Holme-next-the-Sea, bringing its sunflower magic to the North Norfolk coast. Brunstead Blooms, Brunstead

Brunstead Blooms in Brunstead is one of the most amazing Norfolk flower fields close to the city of Norwich and the towns of Stalham, Wroxham, and North Walsham. Founded by Louisa, who started the flower field as a cutting flower patch to encourage more pollinating insects before transforming it into a flower farm, this amazing venue is perfect for those wanting to pick their own bouquets or buy fresh flowers picked straight from the field. Their flowers range from hellebore, specialist tulip, and narcissi in the early spring to ranunculus and roses in the early summer and show-stopping dahlias and chrysanthemums later in the year.
Their seasonal flowers can be provided for all occasions, ranging from full-service weddings to other life events, such as funerals and sympathy flowers, as well as gift bouquets and flowers for businesses. Brunstead Blooms also hosts workshops which include learning how to make summer hand-tied bouquets and Christmas wreaths.

English Peonies, North Walsham

Nestled amongst the Norfolk countryside sits this beautiful field bursting with English Peonies that bloom annually between May and July. They are grown sustainably and have been established on this North Norfolk family farm for over 50 years, creating one of the most iconic Norfolk flower fields. The owner of the flower field took over the cultivation of the peonies planted by her mother-in-law and has turned it into a fully-fledged business. She is involved in displays and attends many established flower shows, such as the Sandringham and Chelsea flower shows. Their beautiful flowers were also chosen to be used at the Coronation of King Charles.
English Peonies runs monthly pick-and-arrange sessions as well as many hands-on workshops throughout the year, such as learning how to grow and arrange seasonal cut flowers. They also offer festive wreath making by the log fire in the colder months, all including your flowers, full tuition and a slice of homemade cake. Private group workshops can also be arranged all year round − perfect for special birthdays, a day out with friends, or for creating special flower crowns for brides and bridesmaids.

The Pulham Patch, Pulham Market

If you’re searching for a pick-your-own sunflower and wildflower field in Norfolk, then look no further than The Pulham Patch. This patch is one of the prettiest Norfolk flower fields and is situated in a great location just off the A140 and has free parking. The flower field is open in July and they also host a pumpkin patch in the autumn, which is great fun for the whole family. There is plenty to do for kids at The Pulham Patch, including rides on tractors, a bale mountain, a play area, a Craft Ark, and a range of food and drinks from Katherine’s Kitchen.
This impressive flower field is part of a 185-acre arable farm and includes a maze maize, a pumpkin patch, a playground, and the pick-your-own flower wildflower field with 16 varieties of flowers such as cosmos, poppies and cornflowers. Guests can fill a range of different jar sizes, depending on what they prefer.

Norfolk Flower Farm, Edgefield

Norfolk Flower Farm in Edgefield is a grower of British cut flowers, close to the iconic Pigs pub, just a stone's throw away from Holt and the North Norfolk coast. Although you cannot pick your own flowers like some of the other Norfolk flower fields in this guide, they provide a range of different flower products, such as wedding flowers, dried flowers, gift bouquets, flower buckets, farm bunches, Mother’s Day flowers and more. Their DIY flower buckets consist of 70 British-grown focal flowers, filler flowers and greenery all freshly cut from the flower farm – available from mid-April to the end of October. They have recently introduced a series of brand-new flower pop-up shops where guests can visit and purchase flowers such as daffodils, tulips and dahlias.
They also offer a comprehensive 1-day flower cutting course which includes learning about which flowers will bloom and when, how to choose what flowers to grow, growing annual flowers, incorporating perennial flowering shrubs and foliage, and how to cut, condition and arrange flowers – all with lunch included.

Erpingham House Farm, Erpingham

If your favourite blooms are peonies, then this flower field will be perfect for you. These amazing flowers have many symbolic meanings, such as romance, prosperity, good fortune and happiness, and the amazing Erpingham House Farm has an abundance of them. With a history in farming for over 100 years, Erpingham House Farm produces a range of different goods available for purchase alongside peonies, such as asparagus and Christmas trees, and they even run a small campsite over the summer months. They still have a few cows on the farm, but their focus is on seasonal crops and their stunning flowers, providing the county with one of the most beautiful Norfolk flower fields.
These flowers bloom in beautiful shades of pink, red and white and make the perfect gift, wedding decorations or home decorations. Guests can attend an open evening tour of the peony field followed by a glass of wine, or can subscribe to their peony service to receive a delivery of fresh flowers every 2 weeks for 6 weeks.

The Garden Retreat, Old Buckenham

The Garden Retreat is a family-run, small-scale flower farm which opened in 2020. From June to October, they open up one of their gardens based at Old Buckenham Country Park as a pick-your-own bouquet garden for all ages to visit and enjoy the flowers. Their other site, based just outside of Old Buckenham, is used solely for growing flowers for DIY buckets and supplying florists with beautiful, seasonal blooms. All of the flowers are organically grown to support biodiversity in Norfolk, making it one of the most sustainable Norfolk flower fields.
There are over 40 different flower varieties such as roses, corncockles, gypsophila and cosmos. There is a choice of medium or large bouquets, and children can fill a jam jar with flowers. They also offer bespoke flower and foliage buckets for weddings and other events which need to be pre-ordered.

Grange Farm, Hockwold cum Wilton

Grange Farm is situated in Hockwold cum Wilton on the Norfolk and Suffolk border and has one of the most stunning Norfolk flower fields − a sunflower field with a 500-metre path that visitors can follow. Guests will need to bring their own secateurs to be able to pick the sunflowers and other seasonal flowers growing on the patch throughout August.
Every Wednesday in August from 5pm–9pm, there is a mobile bar, pop-up pizza kitchen, dessert van, and a coffee and ice cream trailer. Grange Farm is the perfect place to be if you’re looking to enjoy some delicious al fresco dining surrounded by stunning fields of sunflowers – be sure to bring a picnic blanket! The flower field also runs sunflower workshops where attendees can master the art of flower arranging, hosted by Blooming Perfect Florist.
