This pretty cottage sits next to the railway station in the picturesque market town of Wymondham. The property sleeps two guests and is perfect for couples looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You’ll find a plethora of countryside walks branching away from the town or journey east to enjoy the network of trails in the Norfolk Broads (within 20 miles).

The characterful brick and flint railway cottage has been lovingly transformed into a cosy holiday home, full of homely touches and creature comforts. The main living area is open plan, with a cute kitchen area to rustle up delicious dinners for two which you can enjoy together at the table in the garden room (where you’ll also find a sofa bed – the perfect spot to curl up with a good book). Just off the kitchen area is an inviting lounge, with comfortable seating to snuggle up on to watch the TV/DVD. When it’s time for bed, head upstairs to the pretty king-size bedroom. A refreshing shower room completes the accommodation. On a summer’s evening, sip a sundowner at the bistro set in the enclosed patio garden.

Wymondham is an ancient market town full of historic buildings and fascinating architecture. The town hosts regular markets in its Market Square, where you can pick up delicious local produce and handmade gifts. Cakes, milk and tea/coffee and the pre-warmed house were very welcome. Our puppy enjoyed the enclosed gardens front and back. Finally, the bistro next door does great breakfasts.
