Self-catering holiday cottages in Weybourne

Weybourne is a North Norfolk coastal village, of flint cottages and winding roads, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It has a shingle beach and very deep waters, making it popular with beach anglers. It is the point on the coast where the cliffs end and the shingle bank which stretches to Blakeney Point starts. You can also walk along the cliff top to the sandy beach at Sheringham, which is just 3 miles away. The village is famous for being home to the UK's largest privately owned working military collection, “The Muckleburgh Collection” with over 150 artillery pieces, tanks, and other vehicles, many of which are in working order. It incorporates the Suffolk and Norfolk Yeomanry Museum of uniforms, weapons, photographs and documents and is well worth a visit.

Weybourne’s North Norfolk station (The Poppy Line) lies a mile from the village, where you can experience diesel and steam trains which run through the scenic countryside to the towns of Sheringham and Holt. The Poppy Line's greatest claim to fame is that it was once used in an episode of Dad’s Army, and they also hold a number of popular events throughout the year including a 1940s weekend. Adjacent to Weybourne, you can enjoy the spectacular landscape of Sheringham Park with its fabulous displays of rhododendrons, azaleas, and mature woodlands, plus fantastic coastal vistas and miles of scenic countryside paths.
