Set in the coastal village of Weybourne, this pretty cottage is an ideal getaway for one or two people, and a small furry friend can come along, too. Enjoy walking this beautiful area, riding the heritage railway or exploring the fabulous nearby towns before returning to a drink or a meal in the suntrap courtyard.
This bijou brick-and-flint, semi-detached cottage is cosy and comfortable for two adults. Step straight into the open-plan living space, in which you’ll find a kitchen area with plenty of space for preparing tasty meals, a foldaway dining table and a stylish sofa facing a flame-effect electric fire and Freeview TV with Chromecast. This is the ideal space to snuggle down with a book, some music or a TV show. The first floor of the property is characterised by sloping ceilings and lovely old, exposed beams, and here you’ll find a king-size bedroom (twin on request) with a Freeview TV, and a bathroom. Choose from two outside spaces in which to enjoy some fresh air: a small paved area at the front and, at the back, a larger, shingled space with a bistro set and two sun loungers for those long, hot days of summer.
Weybourne is a traditional coastal village set on winding lanes that lead to heathland above and the sea below. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it has a shop, tea room and welcoming pub, a shingle beach and fabulous clifftop walks. The village is famous for being home to the Muckleburgh Military Collection, and is also a stop on the North Norfolk Railway, which runs between the popular seaside town of Sheringham, 3 miles to the east, and the elegant Georgian town of Holt, 4 miles south-west, where you’ll find a mix of shops, galleries, antique haunts, pubs and restaurants.
