With its adorable nautical decor, serene woodland setting and outstanding coastal views, this sweet dog-friendly property in Weybourne is a lovely place to stay. You’ll be just 0.5 miles from the beach and the Norfolk Coast Path, which you can follow along to Salthouse (3 miles) or Sheringham (3.5 miles) for a glorious scenic walk. The property has space for up to four guests over its two bedrooms, so would suit a family unit or two couples holidaying together, with up to one dog.

This tastefully decorated holiday home has an inviting lounge/diner where you can relax with a film on the Smart TV, or read a few chapters of your new book. Enjoy leisurely meals at the dining table, which overlooks the surrounding parkland for a scenic view. On warm days, open up the sliding glass door to let the outside in. Throughout the accommodation, you’ll notice an appealing sea-themed colour scheme of blues and yellows, and a number of stylish decorative touches that the owners have added to help you feel right at home. Outside, the furnished decked area is a wonderful spot for sipping hot coffee in the morning or chatting late into the night with some drinks on summer’s evenings.

Whether you prefer exploring historical landmarks, kicking back on beaches or immersing yourself in nature, you’ll find plenty to do in the surrounding area. Weybourne is a delightful village with a shop, café and pub all within 400 metres of your front door, and also houses the Muckleburgh Military Collection (1 mile) which you can go and see during your stay. Further afield, the seaside resort of Cromer (7 miles) has a Victorian pier and is wonderful for a day out, while at Holt (4 miles) you can catch a steam train along the North Norfolk Railway.

Had a wonderful holiday the weather played nice and we visited Holt on the steam train, Sheringham via the coastal walk and the military museum. Had. Some lovely walks around Weybourne and very good meals at The Ship Inn and the local cafe.the cottage is only small and the storage space not great, but it was warm and everything was as it should be.

The area was lovely and quiet, however I would find it difficult to imagine 4 people sharing this property as storage was in short supply especially in the main bedroom. And it felt very claustrophobic with just 3 of us in.

We have stayed at Whistles a number of times now, and have always enjoyed its simplicity, and location: its parkland setting, the Ship Inn (very good Wherry), the village shop, and the beach. And that we can bring the dog. Its also an easy drive to Sherringham, Holt, and Wells next the Sea.
