Set within a peaceful holiday park in the Norfolk countryside, this bright and welcoming lodge makes a wonderful base for up to four guests. The site itself has excellent facilities and is a designated Dark Sky Discovery location, meaning clear nights bring incredible stargazing opportunities, alongside woodland walks, a conservation pond and even a red squirrel breeding programme.
Inside, the lodge is light-filled and thoughtfully arranged, with an open-plan living area at its heart. French doors draw in plenty of natural light and lead out onto the decking, while the lounge has comfortable seating and a TV for laid-back evenings. A dining table sits by the windows, creating a lovely setting for meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. The accommodation is all on one level, with two inviting bedrooms – a king-size room with its own en-suite shower room and a cheerful twin – alongside a separate family shower room. Outside, the enclosed decked area is a great spot for dining in the fresh air, with garden furniture overlooking the surrounding lawn and greenery. Guests also have access to the park's facilities, including a bar, restaurant, and a leisure centre with tennis courts, swimming pools, gym, sauna, Jacuzzi, and steam room (charges apply). With woodland trails, quiet ponds and the chance to spot red squirrels on site, there's much to keep you occupied without even leaving the grounds. A parking space is provided, so you stay will be hassle-free.
From here, you’re well placed to explore the coast, with the beaches at Weybourne (1.5 miles) and Sheringham (5 miles) both within easy reach. Inland, the Georgian charm of Holt (5 miles) is well worth a visit, while nearby attractions include Baconsthorpe Castle, Muckleburgh Military Collection and Felbrigg Hall, all within 7.5 miles.
