We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is absolutely divine with a very secure garden for Dogs. The back door entrance onto a non-carpeted floor and the large shower also are an absolute bonus for a dog. The decoration and atmosphere in the cottage is 2nd to none. The style is very quaint and yet modern There are a lot of comments about Read morethe staircase and it is quite steep and petite, and the lack of lie upstairs is a bit of a problem for nighttime visits however I stayed with my 84 year-old mother and we managed to overcome this as a problem which Im extremely pleased about. All in all the cottage was a divine place to stay, the local pubs provide excellent food and the location is perfect being central to the north Norfolk Coast This area is an absolute gem of the British Isles Hide

Our stay at Bourne Cottage was okay but please be aware of the Norfolk staircase and the fact that the bathroom and toilet are downstairs

Very happy - beautifully located and within easy walking distance of two pubs ! Kitchen well furnished and house in general well maintained.Stairs to bedrooms are quite steep so be aware of that before having too much to drink at dinner !

Very comfortable, well furnished and well equipped cottage in a quiet and peaceful location. Only ten minutes walk to the beach and cliffs , less to the pub and cafe, also an easy walk to the railway station (North Norfolk Railway) and an easy drive to everywhere else. Those with restricted mobility may find the traditional winder stairs a challengRead moree. Hide

Lovely cottage, just wish Id seen a picture of the stairs first as we do not know what a Norfolk winder staircase is, but saying that it certainly didnt spoil our stay just worried us using them
