Self-catering holiday accommodation in Kelling

If you're looking for a small attractive village that's close to the coast, Kelling will tick all the boxes. This delightful village has an interesting art gallery, which also serves light lunches and delicious cakes. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just a mile from the coast, this a popular area to be based in for exploring the North Norfolk coast.

The nearby seaside town of Sheringham is ideal for a Norfolk family holiday with a shingle beach at high tide giving way to a lovely sandy stretch at low tide. Well worth a visit is Sheringham Park, where you can discover beautiful rhododendrons and azaleas, climb towers for stunning views, and explore 1,000 acres of woodland home to three deer species, a wide variety of birds, butterflies and wildlife species.

There are ample opportunities in the area for walking/cycling and birdwatching, with notable routes being Peddars Way and the Norfolk Coast Path. The popular town of Holt is located 3 miles away and here you will find a number of independent shops, galleries and a great selection of cafes – perfect for enjoying a cup of tea and watching the world go by. Nearby, you have Muckleburgh collection, which is the UK's largest private military collection and includes 25 working tanks. Two challenging 18-hole golf courses can be tackled at Sheringham and Cromer which both have stunning views overlooking the coast.Plus you have a great selection of eateries all close by including The Dunn Cow at Salthouse, The Wiveton Bell, Morston Hall, and The Hunny Bell at Hunworth which are all highly recommended and serve excellent locally sourced food.
