Escape to the North Norfolk countryside with a stay at this beautiful glamping pod, part of a peaceful rural site surrounded by meadows and woodland. Sleeping two guests, with a pullout futon accommodating two more if needed, it makes a lovely base for a couple or small family keen for a restful break. Everything feels very convenient here, with a handy on-site shop, picturesque walks leading directly from the site and the coast nearby at Cromer (6 miles).
On arrival, you’ll ascend two steps onto the deck, followed by one more through the French windows, to enter the pod’s welcoming open-plan interior. A wooden floor, barrel ceiling and carefully chosen furnishings create a cosy atmosphere for chilling out. The kitchen space has everything you need to prepare a light meal, and there’s a fold-out table for sitting down to meals. You’ll have comfortable seating for sitting down with a cuppa and something entertaining on the Smart TV. The inviting double bed sits at the far end, with ample room for the futon if needed. The pod has its own WC, while shared shower facilities close by. Outside, cook up tasty treats on the BBQ, dine beneath the stars and toast marshmallows around the firepit. You can also relax to the max in the private hot tub. Children will love the on-site play area, and there’s parking in a shared car park.
For fun days out nearby, pack your swimming costumes and towels and head to the beach at East Runton (7 miles) or Mundesley (8.5 miles). Cromer is also fab for a traditional seaside day out complete with fish and chips followed by ice cream on the pier. If you’re a history lover, you’ll love exploring the 17th-century house and beautiful grounds at the National Trust’s Felbrigg Hall (6 miles). Alternatively, travel 18.5 miles to vibrant Norwich for shopping, dining and visits to its famous castle and cathedral, perhaps followed by a theatre show.
