This stylish glamping pod is located within a wooded glade right beside a fishing lake, making it a wonderful spot for a peaceful North Norfolk escape. It’s part of a family-run holiday village surrounded by trees, and with two bedrooms it’s ideal for couples or a small family. Despite its beautifully rural location, you’re still only 3 miles from the nearest pub and 6 miles from the seaside resort of Cromer.
Inside, the studio-style accommodation has elegant wood-panelled walls and calming colours inspired by the local landscape. You can prepare breakfasts and light bites in the chic kitchenette and perch at the breakfast bar with your morning coffee. In the evenings, the plump sofa is wonderful for relaxing as you stream a favourite show on the Smart TV. Sleeping arrangements include an inviting double bed and a bespoke bunk bed suitable for children. A contemporary shower room completes the interior. Outside, the enclosed space has a decked area with a bubbling hot tub, plus seating, a fire pit and a BBQ. You’ll also have private access to the on-site fishing lake, along with use of the shop and children’s play area. Private parking is available for one car.
When it’s time to explore your surroundings, pull on your walking boots and set out along scenic routes such as the riverside Bure Valley Path and the Weaver’s Way, which passes through some of Norfolk’s prettiest villages. Cromer is fab for a traditional day by the seaside – you could watch a variety show at the end of the pier or sample the town’s famous crab in one of the many seafood restaurants. Family-friendly days out are easy to arrange, too, with BeWILDerwood and the Bure Valley Railway within 15 miles.
