Self-catering holiday accommodation in Wymondham

Enjoy a Norfolk holiday at a self-catering holiday cottage in Wymondham, a charming market town in the south of the county. Located 9.5 miles south-west of Norwich it is the hub of a large rural area full of nature reserves and beauty spots. Historically notorious for The Great Fire of Wymondham in 1615 in which over 300 buildings were razed to the ground, you can visit a handful surviving structures including The Green Dragon pub and several houses along Damgate Street in the centre of town. Wymondham is also associated with Robert Kett, who was a leader in the peasant’s revolt of 1549 and held the city of Norwich under siege for six weeks. Wymondham settled down a lot since the Middle Ages and it serves as the perfect holiday retreat – the town has all the handy amenities you could need and it is also within driving distance of the region’s best visitor attractions like Norwich, Thetford Forest, BeWILDerwood and the wonderful Suffolk Coast.

We have a superb choice of Norfolk holiday cottages across the county for your self-catering break whether you are planning a romantic break, an extended family getaway or a reunion with friends. Our properties often have added features like a hot tub or cosy wood burner, many are also dog-friendly – so you can bring your pet along too!
