Enjoy the market town of Wymondham from this gorgeous Grade-II listed characterful cottage close to local attractions, and lots to see and do in the town and area. It’s the perfect base for a couple or small family, with a king-size bedroom and a single room, and has a private landscaped garden with somewhere to sit and enjoy the sun.

Dating back to the 17th century, the cottage has bags of charm, with wooden beams and the original Inglenook fireplace housing a decorative wood burner in the lounge/diner. Spend cosy evenings snuggled up on the comfy sofa and armchair watching a good movie and enjoy tasty meals together at the dining table having rustled them up on the large Range oven in the kitchen next door. Start your day with a fresh coffee and end it up the traditional Norfolk winder staircase having a great night’s sleep in the two comfy bedrooms, a king-size and a single, after a relaxing soak in the family bathroom. On warm days, take at drink out to the garden and enjoy the pretty surroundings.

Head out from the front door to explore Wymondham’s many attractions, including 1000-year-old Wymondham Abbey, the stunning Market Cross building and fascinating Heritage Museum, all less than 500 metres away. You’ll find pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants within 300 metres of your door too. Take a ride on the Mid Norfolk Railway from Wymondham station (700 metres) to Dereham (12 miles) and visit the city of Norwich by car or bus (11 miles), famous for great shopping, the castle, the Theatre Royal, and the cathedral. Have a wonderful day at on the pier, beach, and Pleasure Beach Gardens at the family-favourite resort of Great Yarmouth (30 miles).
