Explore the Wells-next-the-Sea Quay

Explore the narrow lanes of Wells-next-the-Sea from the quay lined with quaint independent shops, excellent eateries and art galleries. The quay is the heart of the town, perfect for a waterfront stroll and crabbing with a bucket, line, some bait, and a net.

Hop aboard the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway

Step aboard the unique Wells and Walsingham Light Railway for a delightful family train journey through the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Known as the world's smallest public railway, this narrow-gauge heritage line connects the coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea with the historic village of Walsingham.

Go seal spotting

Head to Morston Quay, which is the main departure point for boat trips to Blakeney Point, home to England's largest grey seal colony. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing boat journey through the salt marshes before reaching the sandbanks where hundreds of seals can often be seen resting, playing in the water, or basking in the sunshine.
