Self-catering holiday cottages in East and West Rudham

East or West Rudham is a great base for a wonderful holiday exploring all of North Norfolk. Rudham is home to a popular traditional village pub, The Crown, with its rustic beamed ceiling and warm open fire giving a relaxed country vibe, while the mouth-watering menu and excellent wine list ensure a first-class dining experience. You can easily head here if you don't fancy cooking in your self-catering accommodation.

Just a few miles away from our holiday cottages is the market town of Fakenham, with a National Hunt Racecourse, and the award-winning Pensthorpe Wildlife Park attraction, which has something for all ages to enjoy – children will especially love WildRootz, their huge outdoor adventure play area.

Fakenham boasts one of the oldest and most experienced glassmaking premises in the UK, open all year round. Experience the history of glassblowing and watch the team use age-old techniques to produce fascinating collectable products. Just up the road is Houghton Hall, built by Great Britain’s first prime minister, Sir Robert Walpole. It offers a great day out, with its unique history and interior design, a wonderful 5-acre garden, a sculpture park, a model soldier museum, a playground and a restaurant.

Just 15 miles away from our holiday homes is the larger town of King’s Lynn with a wide range of shopping options, a popular weekly market (held every Tuesday), a cinema, heritage sites and a wide range of eateries. There are a number of fantastic walking opportunities in the area, notably Peddars Way, which is just 3 miles away and provides 44 miles of surprisingly varied and beautiful routes linking up with the Norfolk Coast Path.

Spend your holidays in East and West Rudham and create unforgettable breaks in Norfolk.
