Tucked away in the village of West Rudham, head out to explore the beauty of North Norfolk from this welcoming first floor abode. Cosy furnishings give you a warm welcome after days walking the Norfolk Coast Path, days on the beach or time spent discovering the gorgeous market towns and seaside villages close to home. A lovely destination for a romantic rural retreat, the open-plan living space means you can cosy up for snug evenings and keep each other warm.

Step inside, leave your shoes in the entrance hall and ascend a flight of stairs to settle in. Beneath sloping ceilings, the living space is filled with charm with neutral hues creating a welcoming ambience. Spend time curled up on the sofa in front of the smart TV or DVD where you can enjoy lazy mornings and film nights throughout your stay or sit at the table and sip a chilled tipple before tucking into dreamy dinners. Find all you need in the small kitchen area, whether you’re throwing together a beach picnic or cooking a three-course feast. There’s a small patio for warmer evenings before resting your head in the double bedroom. Wake to farmyard views and start your day with a soak in the tub.

A trip to North Norfolk wouldn’t be complete without a day by the sea. Travel 13 miles north to the golden sands at Brancaster and spend a day in the sand, sea and salty air or tread the Norfolk Coast Path and wander along the shores taking in the breathtaking views. Venture further afield and visit the quaint streets of Holt (19.5 miles), a Georgian market town with places to eat and spots to indulge in some retail therapy. 10 miles from your door, the Sandringham Estate with its country park is well worth a visit.

A lovely place to stay with good facilities cleverly planned in a small space. It's just off the main road so quiet. Everything you want is there: comfortable sofa, comfortable bed, good bathroom with a fairly powerful shower; decent though obviously small kitchen. Though away from the coast it's central for much of Norfolk. I'd recommend it strongRead morely to anyone. Hide

Robins Nest is a comfortable base from which to explore the North Norfolk Coast, beautiful villages and historical houses. National Trust and privately owned. The cottage is cosy but well furnished and well equipped. Comfy bed and sofa. Perfect for 1 or 2 people. Sitting out area is lovely for breakfast in the sun. Would recommend.
