Self-catering holiday cottages in Brancaster

Located on the North Norfolk Coast, Brancaster and its neighbour Brancaster Staithe are two of the county’s loveliest coastal destinations. We have a bespoke range of holiday cottages in Brancaster, including some truly stunning luxury manor houses, dog-friendly accommodation and homes with plenty of room for your loved ones.

There is a wonderful sandy beach, numerous coastal and countryside walks, a golf course, tennis courts and excellent sailing from Brancaster Staithe. You will be spoilt for choice as there are three well known pubs The Jolly Sailors, The Ship and The White Horse within the two villages all serving great food.

For a good overview of the coast at Brancaster, we would recommend you take a walk or cycle inland up Common Lane. In less than a mile this narrow road leads gently uphill to Barrow Common, where there are plenty of fantastic views over Brancaster harbour, Scolt Head, Brancaster golf course and even west across the Wash. On a clear day you can even see the wind turbines over on the Lincolnshire shore!

Also consider taking a boat trips across to Scolt Head from Brancaster Staithe – this four mile stretch of sand dunes & salt marsh is often described as one of the best offshore barrier islands in the UK. Although it may appear you can walk directly to it, we would suggest you shouldn’t attempt this as the tide comes in very quickly, with strong rip currents and the island is completely cut off at high tide.

With the lovely village of Burnham Market just a short drive away with its excellent range of shops, restaurants and pubs it is easy to see why this area of Norfolk is such a popular holiday destination. So browse below and get excited for your Brancaster break today!
