A pretty cottage. Showing signs of wear and tear but lovely and warm. Plenty of heating and the beds were comfortable with good linen. Pretty garden and we thought good value for money. Great location for all the lovely beaches. Enjoyed our stay enormously.

Great location with easy access to beach and other amenities and areas. But very close to a very busy road which could be heard at all hours

A lovely small cottage, well appointed and almost opposite the Beach Road to Brancaster Beach. Importantly, just 160 yards from a very nice pub ! I could not access the listed cottage WiFi and the mobile connectivity in Brancaster is pretty poor! But see under pub (where patrons may use their WiFi)

One of the best Cottages, we have stayed in: very comfortable, plenty of light and plenty of room. Located near Brancaster marshes, which are full of birds and the beach is wonderful. A good pub is just up the road, the Ship.

Cottage is well located, spacious and has parking and a fully enclosed garden. Downside, no WiFi which is a real issue as phone signal is practically non existent. No welcome pack is provided (first time this has been the case, everywhere else we've booked has had a basic welcome pack). The Ship hotel is 100yds away and has fabulous food, ThornhamRead more deli is fantastic for breakfast and The Lifeboat inn in Thornham is great. Local attractions all handy to access. Hide

Good location, very secure garden for dogs. Off-road parking is a bonus. Some lovely walks nearby. Be aware that the local Ship hotel will exercise their right to eject you from the bar if your dogs dare to bark and disturb their diners!

According to photo, the cottage appeared to be further from the road. Also parking would only take 1 car. Central location giving good access to the beach etc

Barmstone Cottage is in a great location about half a mile from the beach, we took 2 dogs, they slept in their beds in the little hallway near the front door, and there was plenty of places to take them for walks. It was lovely to be able to sit in the enclosed garden and relax. The ship pub is within walking distance. The only downside was the maiRead moren road does get very noisy at times. People with mobility problems ie knees and hips may not be able to cope with the stairs. Hide
