Self-catering holiday cottages in Heacham

Heacham is a bustling little village with plenty of charming holiday cottages situated on the North Norfolk coastline. It has two sandy beaches, designated as North and South. North Beach has a wide promenade behind with beach huts, while South Beach is a much wider, sandy beach and is backed by sand dunes. Truly wonderful sunsets are seen here due to the wide open skies and the shallow waters at low tide that reflect the sun.

Heacham is also home to Norfolk Lavender, a great day out where you can enjoy the world-famous lavender gardens, lavender oil distillery, National Lavender Collection and herb garden. They have also opened a landscaped meadow garden and a fascinating animal farm, which is home to a range of unusual creatures from all corners of the globe. There are a number of excellent RSPB reserves in the area including Titchwell and Snettisham. Regular buses throughout the year run from Heacham to the market and seaport town of Kings Lynn, which is around 13 miles away – you can enjoy a superb mix of history, shopping and entertainment in this vibrant town.

Just 3 miles away you will find the popular seaside town of Hunstanton – a great spot to keep the children entertained with its long sandy beach, fairground rides, oasis swimming pool and Sea Life Centre.

Heacham is also a holiday spot well served with shops and is close to many pubs and restaurants including the Michelin-stared Neptune Inn in Old Hunstanton, which is well worth a visit. Discover a wide range of family-friendly holiday homes, self-catering accommodation perfect for big groups, and romantic retreats for two by the sea. Browse our Heacham cottages and plan a memorable break to the North Norfolk Coast.
