The majestic oaks and parklands turn vibrant hues of reds and oranges, hedgerows and woodland floors are ripe for a spot of foraging, and local game and popular shellfish are back on the menu. September sees the onset of many a foodie festival, whilst October makes way for events celebrating our wondrous local ales. During autumn, Norfolk is also home to a host of festivals and holidays harking back to Paegan times around Halloween and Bonfire Night – our favourites include Fairyland Trust’s Real Halloween at Holt Hall and the bonfire and firework spectacular at Corpusty.
