We had an amazing stay at 1 Port - the cottage is very well laid out and every item you may need has been thought of by the owners. The quality of the property and its contents are fantastic and the location is first rate for exploring the wonderful town of Holt. We felt very comfortable and relaxed during our stay and would recommend this propertyRead more to anyone coming to stay in the area. Hide

The cottage is in an excellent position and was a lovely place to stay. Unfortunately the heating wasnt on when we arrived on a December day and the house was freezing. If I stayed there again I would check with Norfolk Cottages that the heating would be on when we arrived.

The reason we scored cleanliness low was because the cottage had lots of dog hairs all over front and back door mats, hair all up the metalwork of the stairs. The venetian blinds were covered in dust, and lot of cobwebs everywhere. The WORST BIT was the bed absolutely stunk....VERY MUSTY, it was like the bed linen hadn't been dried properly from beRead moreing laundered. You woke up smelling of it....!! I would recommend that a Private No Parking sign was put up on the side of the cottage as we had problem with other cars Parking on the driveway. The fridge was very noisy it kept you awake at night. Hope most of these comments are a one of problem.... as the cottage is lovely little gem in a lovely town. I don't usually complain but felt these issues had to be mentioned. Hide

Perfect accommodation for a couple, great location in Holt. Having a parking space at the door was great, and the shower was excellent.

Good position. Clean. Light on cutlery and some crockery without constant washing up. Parking space almost impossible to use with a large vehicle as a builders van was permanently parked very close.

Generally good to v good, but we did take up the issue of how the bins were dealt with at your local office ( completely full when arrived, even though bin men should have collected the day before ) but we received no response. This should be addressed in an update to the owners welcome information . . It needs to be clear if bins are to be put outRead moreside ( presumably?) rather than suggesting bin people go hunting for them in garage . Could have been v smelly in the summer !!!!! Hide

1 Port was an excellent base for our holiday - very well situated in the centre of Holt, with its own parking space. The cottage was very well furnished with everything you would need, everything was in excellent condition and overall we (myself and my dog) had a fantastic week. I would definitely book this property again!
