The pleasant village of Snettisham offers something for everyone - whatever your age and whatever the weather! The beach is less than two miles and, with the traditional seaside resort of Hunstanton five miles away, it is a perfect location for discovering Norfolk's splendid coastline. Ornithologists will enjoy the RSPB reserves close by, there are many excellent walks and cycle rides in the area and Sandringham, the Queen's country estate is nearby. The village has a selection of shops and there are also pubs that serve food, such as the acclaimed Rose and Crown.

A truly beautiful holiday at Snettisham Mill. Idyllic, peaceful and relaxing setting. The back garden - Wow! What a gorgeous tranquil view, especially watching the ducks on "Golden Pond" as we nicknamed it, although believe it's fed by the river Ingle. We even met the owner of the property, John, who had come to check on some ground works that had been done, made him a cuppa and had a good chat. Everything was here that we needed including a lovely welcome pack. Very comfy bed in the main bedroom, also very quiet on a night time. Our 4th time in Norfolk but first on this coastline, such a lot to see - beautiful, massive beaches. We have left a little free booklet that we picked up 'The Guide' which contains loads of info on the area inc tide times and bus times. For a special meal try 'The Old Bank' if you can get booked - food just amazing - not cheap but worth every penny, food cooked to perfection, friendly atmosphere. Rose and Crown - Sunday lunch great! Was interesting at Wells-next-the-Sea - lovely place, sat on barge having a fab fresh crab salad. Burnham Market worth a visit as is everywhere on this beautiful coastline. Thanks to all involved in making this a great holiday stay!!
