The Old Coach House is a beautifully appointed and modernised cottage forming part of a small gated Mews-style development just a short walk from the soft sandy beaches of Old Hunstanton. Dating back to the mid-late eighteenth century this spacious cottage offers luxury and style with a fabulous and well-equipped kitchen complete with gas range cooker, Nespresso coffee machine and wine fridge! Conjure up a feast for supper and relax in the open plan living area; an ideal place for dinner parties with friends.
With two double bedrooms the luxury continues with king and super king beds; the super king benefits from it’s own sumptuous ensuite and there’s also a lovely family bathroom too. With two garden areas to choose from, enjoy al-fresco dining in the enclosed courtyard or relax on the decking perhaps with a G & T whilst the sun goes down with a south-westerly aspect and distant sunsets to enjoy. The Old Coach House is set back from the main coast road and located in a small, gated development of similar style properties and charming cottages. There are pubs and restaurants close-by including Michelin star restaurant The Neptune Inn, The Lodge and Ancient Mariners, all serving great food. The beaches of Old Hunstanton are some of the prettiest around with soft sand dunes decorated with subtle shades of beach huts. Take a stroll down Sea Lane and discover the Lifeboat station and café with a popular brunch menu with locals and visitors alike! Stroll along the sands and head to the Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton renowned for its’ red stripy cliffs and esplanade gardens. In the opposite direction is the quieter coastal path to Holme-next-the-Sea with bird reserve. Why not hop aboard the coast hopper bus and discover quaint villages with ancient Inn’s such as, The Lifeboat and Chequers Inn at Thornham. Local produce can be sourced from the many farm shops with ‘Pick your own’ available in summer at Drove Orchards and those extra luxuries at Thornham Deli. A short drive to Heacham and you will find the truly unique Norfolk Lavender with restaurant facilities, a small farm and local produce available at the Farm shop. Heacham Manor & Golf Club is also well worth a visit, enjoy lunch or supper in the garden room or perhaps treat yourself to afternoon tea or a treatment in the Mulberry Spa. Also close by are the stunning estates of Sandringham and Holkham, the Royal Estate of Sandringham is surrounded by woodland walks and beautiful countryside, equally an afternoon spent at Holkham, with grounds ideal for cycling and feature many themed walks and trails, with bike hire available close to the courtyard, restaurant and gift shop, is very well spent. The nearby village of Burnham Market is well worth a visit with a variety of shops centred around the picturesque village green.‘Foodies’ will enjoy discovering ‘flavours’ of Italy after a visit to the Tuscan Farm shop with a selection of cheeses, prosciutto and other artisan specialities from around our area as well as local produce from Humble Pie deli. For special occasions, why not enjoy a special dinner and treat yourself to supper at the Hoste Arms Hotel with bar, restaurant and spa facilities followed by cocktails at No.29, perfect for celebrations with family and friends.
