Old Hunstanton is a popular destination with families and dog walkers with long sandy beaches to explore and where all ages can enjoy dipping their toes in the water and splashing at the waters’ edge. The village itself has two pubs serving food, The ancient Mariners and The Lodge as well as fine dining at Michelin Star ‘The Neptune Inn’. Sandy Bottom is perfectly placed to explore the stunning coastline, the beaches here have uninterrupted views; gorgeous sight at sunset. Take a stroll along the beach and discover the subtle shades of coloured beach huts nestled amongst the dunes. The neighbouring seaside town of Hunstanton has plenty to offer with the Princess Theatre, High street shops, bowling and two supermarkets as well as a Leisure centre and the Sea Life Centre. There are a number of farm shops close-by with Drove Orchards at Holme-next-the-Sea and Norfolk Lavender Farm shops where you can pick up with local produce not to mention an array of coastal paths and pretty villages to visit.
A lovely, well equiped and comfortable bungalow in a quiet location. Very handy for the Old Hunstanton beach and for access to all locations along the coast road. A good find and one we will return too.
Sandy Bottom suited us perfectly. We are a couple in our 70s with a Black Lab and were looking for something a little different .The bungalow was really comfortable, cosy and in a quiet location just a short walk from the stunning beach. Everything was neat tidy and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped with cutlery, crockery and white goods. The owner has taken a lot of care to make it a real home from home . The information folder had lots of useful information about eating, shopping and interesting things to do.The welcome basket of goodies on arrival was a lovely touch with some essential items and a special treat. We had a stunning week with exceptional weather for March - a great holiday break.
Lovely little bungalow within a secluded private garden. Within walking distance of 4 excellent pub/ restaurants and 5 minutes walk from the lovely Sandy beech
