If you are celebrating something special, Congham Hall, the luxury hotel in the village, has a day spa and is a great place for a lavish afternoon tea or dinner. With woodland walks on the doorstep and horse riding, golf, sea fishing and trout lakes available within a few miles there is something for everyone to enjoy. Close by, Castle Rising is home to one of the best preserved 12th Century castles in England and the grand houses of the Royal Estate at Sandringham and Houghton Hall are an easy drive away. Snettisham RSPB Reserve and the coastal resorts of Heacham and Hunstanton are nearby for great family days out, sandy beaches and fabulous sunsets. Spoilt for choice with things to do, also don't forget cultural King's Lynn for its museums, heritage, theatres and old port quays.
Very good location for exploring North Norfolk. Garden is perfect for dogs, plenty of space and totally secure our dog loved it. The log burner heats the room well and the oil fired heating is very good too. Nice dining room and a good size kitchen. We have already rebooked for 2022.
Lovely cosy cottage, extremely clean. Well equipped kitchen for cooking at home. Good pub within walking distance and lovely dog walks through the nearby woods. Garden is enclosed and safe for dogs, and is bigger than it appears in the photo's. We would certainly consider returning.
Our second visit to Carstone Cottage, the accommodation is really lovely and cosy. We would thoroughly recommend this property and will certainly stay again when visiting Norfolk. It had everything you could wish for while on holiday.
