This cosy, Grade II-listed cottage in a prime position in the heart of Wells-next-the-Sea is perfect for families, couples and friends looking for a seaside holiday on the beautiful Norfolk coast. Wells-next-the-Sea is a popular town where you can enjoy a spot of crabbing by the picturesque harbour and eat the freshest shellfish available. Stroll to the beach (1.5 miles) along the harbour footpath or hop aboard the narrow-gauge steam railway and admire views of colourful beach huts decorating the vast sands elevated against a woodland backdrop.

A characterful two-storey cottage with beautiful original exposed wooden ceiling beams and stone walls in the living areas and the bedrooms. On the ground floor is an open-plan sitting/dining area with plush seating for relaxing together after a day at the beach. Spend the evenings watching your favourite movies on the Smart TV, and in the cooler months, pop a log in the wood burner to stay snug and warm. The contemporary kitchen has everything you need to rustle up some tasty treats. There are cottage-style stairs with a rope handrail to the upper floors. You’ll find a king-size bedroom and shower room on the first floor. Head up to the second floor which has a king-size bedroom and shower room. Outside is a cute rear courtyard with a bistro table and chairs, perfect for a morning brew or a cool evening drink.

There are many wonderful places to visit nearby. The unspoilt coastal scenery surrounding Wells-next-the-Sea is a haven for walkers, cyclists, bird and wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, sailors and anglers. It is a short drive to Holkham Hall (3 miles), which hosts numerous events throughout the year. Walkers can take in the views along the shoreline from Wells-next-the-Sea to Holkham Beach (3.5 miles). Nature lovers will enjoy exploring Holt Country Park (12.5 miles), Pensthorpe Nature Reserve (12 miles) or Blakeney Point Nature Reserve (8 miles) which offers the chance to spot the seals.

2 young couples + our medium sized dog had such a fabulous stay here!, the cottage is full of period character and charm, and we loved snuggling up in front of the log burner on an evening - a real home away from home, where we were all super sad to leave! kitchen has everything you need, but your also spoilt for choice with pubs and eateries in thRead moree villages. The location on the high street of Wells was perfect; butchers, bakeries, green grocers, coffee shop and cute boutiques all on your doorstep! 100% recommend this property to small families and couples exploring the Norfolk coast. We had a very enjoyable break in this lovely cottage, which had everything we needed for a luxuriously comfortable and cosy stay. The weather was icy cold, but we enjoyed relaxing in front of the log burner. Wells is a perfect little haven with lovely local restaurants and shops, and we treated ourselves to a special sea food meal at the Wells CrabRead more House after a bracing walk on the beach. Hide

This cottage is just beautiful, local restaurants Bang in Wells and the Wells Crab House are amazing. If you want an extra special evening The Victoria inn is very classy. We had the most amazing week in this cottage, right in the middle of the Main Street with shops located either side, its the perfect location. Very comfortable with all amenitiesRead more provided for us. Highly recommend Thursford Christmas Extravaganza, seal spotting at Blakeney Point and the Sandringham Christmas market! Some terrible weather kept us in but the cottage was so comfy and homely we really didnt mind just relaxing in the warm. We will definitely be back next year Hide
