Wells-next-the-Sea is a lively coastal town on the north Norfolk coast. With its fine, sandy beach, iconic beach huts and bordered by pine woodland, it offers a playground for young and old alike, there is even a small gauge railway that will take you down to the beach if you don't fancy the stroll. At the harbour you can see the small fishing fleet unload its daily catch and the quayside is also popular with children fishing for crabs. There is an eclectic variety of shops, cafes and tea rooms to browse, with not a chain store in sight and The Buttlands is a lovely part of the town with a tree lined green, fine Georgian houses, pub and restaurant. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and with the North Norfolk Coastal path running directly through the town you may not wish to wander far but other delights near to hand include Holkham Hall, Burnham Market and its sister villages, Brancaster, Cley-next-the-Sea and Stiffkey to name just a few.
We had a lovely break at Eva May and hope to return very soon.
Very comfortable property. Well equipped and lovely decor. On arrival the bungalow was beautifully clean and a very welcome tray of delicious biscuits tea & coffee.
Outstanding holiday accommodation. Will return.
A home from home. Great location and we will definitely visit again
Beautifully decorated - gave us some nice ideas for our own home. Very quiet even though so close to shops - set in a cul-de-sac with a pedestrian cut-through. Delighted they were happy to accept our two dogs - so many properties only accept one if any. Would be very happy to go back.
we all felt this property was a real home from home and enjoyed our stay will go again
