A characterful semi-detached cottage situated in the heart of this iconic port town, which is only 2.5 miles from Holkham Hall. Perfect for small families or groups of friends keen to explore the natural and historical attractions of the North Norfolk Coast, this cosy two-storey cottage features a sitting room, kitchen/diner and an enclosed patio garden.

Located on one of the main B roads into Wells’ bustling quayside, this cottage has a striking flint and brick exterior and a homely interior that glows in the natural light pouring in through dual-aspect windows. The attractively furnished sitting room is a great place to relax together as a group when not exploring the coast. The nearby kitchen/diner has everything experienced foodies need to create wonderful meals using local ingredients, with access to the garden within easy reach. When night time comes, head upstairs for a soak in the family bathroom before sinking into the welcoming arms of the double bedroom or the twin bedroom nearby. If the weather is fine, head outside to the private patio garden for everything from morning coffees to fish suppers.

Wells’ bustling town centre, with its shops, family-friendly pubs and galleries, lies within 500 metres of the cottage. The walk to Well’s famous beach (1.5 miles) takes in harbour views, marshland and pine woodland. Holkham Hall (2.5 miles) is one of Norfolk’s many historical and cultural gems and it’s well worth setting a day aside to explore the 18th-century estate’s house and astonishing grounds.

We have stayed at the cottage before and find it a comfortable and well positioned retreat in Wells. The parking is a bonus.

This cottage is lovely. The position is ideal, just a short walk to the harbour or through the alley to the shops. The cottage is clean, well maintained and very comfortable.

Location is great and right by the Quay and shops. Has all the amenities you would need from a self catering cottage. Road is busy during the day but generally quiet at night even on a bank holiday weekend. Having a parking space is great and we managed to park fine with an SUV type car.

A really cosy cottage in the centre of Wells-next-the-Sea. An ideal location for winter birdwatching and walking. A perfect place to come home to after a cold day out on the saltmarsh. And the snowdrops at Walsingham were as wonderful as ever. It was our fifth visit and won't be the last. Thank you

We had a lovely stay at the cottage, and the beds were really comfortable. Excellent location for exploring Wells in close proximity to cafes, pubs and restaurants. A very well presented property, we would definitely stay again.

Clean, well-equipped and comfy cottage in an excellent location for sampling the many delights of Wells and surroundings. Great to have off-road parking but NB this would be very tight for a large car.

Great cottage, with everything you need and very handy for pubs, restaurants shops etc. We were there over a bank holiday weekend, but it was still very quiet in the cottage.

Good location, homely cottage. It felt generally clean but when you looked a little closer there were issues. Outside area entirely neglected sadly, which was a real shame. Overall we enjoyed our stay as we're easy going as a family but we do feel improvements and updates should be made to reflect value for money.

Could not fault the cottage. Lovely design everything you could need. Warm and cosy. Centrally located. Only gripe would be the quilt was very warm for summer. Would return if holidaying in Wells again.
