Blakeney village is loved by visitors all year round and is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The quayside is a great place for the family to try their hand at crabbing or a good starting point for a walk along the coastal path to Morston or Cley-next-the-Sea. Enjoy sailing, birdwatching and boat trips to see the seal colony at Blakeney Point. There are fantastic sandy beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham with beautiful Holkham Hall and deer park also in the village, both a short drive away. Venture inland to the elegant Georgian town of Holt and spend a day wandering in and out of its antique shops and art galleries, boutiques and book shops.
Wonderful week stay at Pear Tree Cottage. Blakeney is a lovely village on the North Coast and the cottage was a great location to visit and do so much. Well stocked and clean cottage, it felt spacious and comfortable. No parking at the property, best parking was up the street in the Coronation Car Park (small fee but the NT car park in the Quay was prone to flooding at high tide). Highly recommend!
The location of Pear Tree Cottage is great - especially in the evenings when everything is so quiet and you can really enjoy the beauty of Blakeney. The cottage is designed really nicely and the beds were incredibly comfy! Three nights there wasn't enough.
Lovely cottage that used to belong to my husbands family so that was particularly special!
Well appointed and equipped character cottage in the heart of picturesque Blakeney, which serves as a great base for exploring the north Norfolk coast.
