Retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life at this traditional brick-and-flint fisherman’s cottage in the charming village of Blakeney. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms, it’s a great accommodation option for small families or groups of friends yearning to lose themselves in North Norfolk’s epic scenery. Take a boat trip to Blakeney Point to see the seal colonies during the day; and in the evening, come home to the cottage’s pretty garden to fire-up the BBQ and dine alfresco with your loved ones.

Step inside and you’ll be welcomed by the beautiful, bright living/dining area. Slip onto a sofa and make yourself at home before making your way to the stylish kitchen to whip up some dinner. Get the whole gang together for a sociable meal in the cosy dining area, or make your way out onto the patio, fire up the charcoal BBQ and dine alfresco. After dinner, treat yourself to a glass of wine in the garden, or head back into the living area to relax in front of the glowing wood burner. At bedtime, head upstairs and take your pick from two charming bedrooms.

Kick off the perfect day at Blakeney Quay (0.5 miles). Stroll along the promenade, breathe in the fresh sea air and take a little time out to watch the boats in the harbour. Then, head to Morston Quay (1.5 miles), hop on a boat and sail out to the nature reserve at Blakeney Point to meet its colonies of seals. Further afield (9 miles), make your way to Wells-next-the-Sea to take a trip on the historic Wells-Walsingham Light Railway, go hiking through the pretty pine woods, or treat yourself to some fish and chips at the harbour.

Cottage itself is in a lovely Blakeney position, the garden was much appreciated. The cleanliness does mean I would not book through Holiday cottages again, I don't have the same issues with other Blakeney cottage companies

This is our second visit to this property this year and this time there was less care taken in preparing the property for us, given the top price charged misses are unacceptable. Getting to speak to a human rather than having to use a chat would have improved the issue handling. Otherwise the property is lovely but not one if you find lots of leRead morevel changes difficult and you should be aware the bathroom is downstairs Hide

A lovely, well-equipped cottage at the end of a peaceful and picturesque lane, right in the heart of Blakeney. Easy access to the coastal path for walks, excellent local coffee and bakery, and easy crabbing and creek paddling for young families.

Pear Tree Cottage is a lovely, secluded getaway in a delightful location a minutes walk from Blakeney Quay. The living space is well configured and comfortable. While the stairs are steep, we found it manageable. The two bedrooms are a good size and ideal for families with school age children. The garden is sweet and the amenities on your doorstep Read more- restaurants, cafes and shops - are amazing. Parking is ample and relatively inexpensive, particularly if you are a National Trust member. Hide

Comfy little cottage. Good location with short walk to quayside but still quiet. The outside space was nice to have, ( other side shared with another property.)

The fact that you cant park near the property isnt great if you have a lot of bags. I realise that theres very limited space to park. The nearest carpark is 6 per day, free parking is practically non existent. The property itself is pretty basic, the stairs are quite dangerous and slippy.
