Blakeney with its harbour, marshes and stunning scenery is a hotspot for a great coastal holiday. Within easy walking distance of the cottage there are several places to eat, a local delicatessen, a general store plus the North Norfolk Coastal path, which is great for birdwatching and walking. The walk to Morston on the coastal path is just over a mile and with a lunch at The Anchor when you get there, it is a lovely way to spend the day, as is a trip to see the local seal colony at Blakeney Point. The village also has some interesting art galleries, gift shops and The Blakeney Harbour Rooms has a growing reputation for showcasing some good tribute bands. This stunning diverse coast is recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are fantastic sandy beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham with beautiful Holkham Hall and deer park also in the village, both a short drive away. In the summer visit Wiveton Hall - now a well-known landmark following the BBC's Normal for Norfolk programme. Stop in the cafe to admire the beautiful marsh views with a cup of tea and pick your own raspberries and strawberries from the fruit farm - it's all normal for Norfolk!

A wonderful weekend away with family on what should have been our wedding weekend! A very lovely house in one of our favourite spots in Norfolk.

Dr Hayley D,

We have enjoyed a lovely break here in a part of the country nobody in the party had visited before. We took advantage of the long coastal walks, the seafood and of course the pubs and bars! Marvellous location, a comfortable and beautiful house and weather that was kind! What more could you ask for!

Sinclair family,

We, (six adults, 1 infant & 1 dog) have had a fabulous time here. The house is great (layout, facilities, location, parking, safety, garden), it has everything. Spar (open all hours) plus seafood plus great coffee literally on the doorstep. Organisation was great as was the weather. Who needs France !!! Can't recommend this house enough, Great - 10/10. Management have made great efforts during the 'Covid times' to make us feel safe. to

Mr Paul C,

Fabulous house and area for family get togethers. Will be back!!!

Mrs Margaret H,

We love North Norfolk and this was a good place to stay with a convenient shop across the road, parking and easy access to the harbour. The house was very comfortable and suited Grandma, Grandad, Mum, Dad and 2 girls well. So much to see and do in the area and we were lucky to get two good beach days and an 'adventure' day at Holkham. Many Thanks

Mr Keith G,

Loved every minute of our stay. Superb cottage in superb location.

Mrs Judy S,

This has been our first family christmas away from home + it has been wonderful. The cottage has been comfortable and the weather has been kind to us, so no complaints there either. Thank you so much.
