Blakeney with its harbour, marshes and stunning scenery is a hotspot for a great coastal holiday. Within easy walking distance of the cottage there are several places to eat; a local delicatessen, a general store and the North Norfolk Coastal path can be easily picked up, which is great for birdwatching and walking. The walk to Morston on the coastal path is just over a mile and with a lunch at The Anchor when you get there, it is a lovely way to spend the day, as is a trip to see the local seal colony at Blakeney Point. The village also has some interesting art galleries, gift shops and The Blakeney Harbour Rooms has a growing reputation for showcasing some good tribute bands. This stunning diverse coast is recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are fantastic sandy beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham with beautiful Holkham Hall and deer park also in the village, both a short drive away. In the summer visit Wiveton Hall - now a well-known landmark following the BBC's Normal for Norfolk programme. Stop in the cafe to admire the beautiful marsh views with a cup of tea and pick your own raspberries and strawberries from the fruit farm - it's all normal for Norfolk!

What a lovely week we had in Blakeney. Gorgeous area, lots of walking. With the Covid restrictions, not much pubbing but we were quite happy to spend more time in this delightful cottage. Cosy, clean and very comfortable. The Welcome Tray was brilliant. Thank you so much!

Mr Stephen H,

What a wonderful cottage! Everything we could need and more, and Murphy loved his bed and treats, such a lovely touch. We had perfect weather and were totally relaxed. Thank you for all the extra lengths you have gone to for Covid reassurance. We will be back!

Mr David T,

Thank you! We've had a great few days and will look forward to returning! Thanks again! - The Ttoffali family

Past Customer,

Came away for our 48th Wedding Anniversary. The cottage had everything we needed, and the extra treat of the welcome pack was much appreciated. Despite being nearly blown off our feet every day, we enjoyed lovely walks to Cley and Morston and then from Wells to Holkham

Margaret R,

We've had a fabulous stay in your lovely cottage. Everything we needed was here and the welcome pack was very much appreciated. We've enjoyed great walks, lovely pubs and your comfortable and cosy cottage. We'll definitely be back !

Andrew B,

Just to say thank you very much for our stay in your lovely cottage. We have had a superb break and your cottage is the absolute perfect base in many ways, couldn't have wished for better. We hope to return some time soon!

Elaine S,

It's been lovely staying here at Cuckoo Cottage. We had really good weather (very lucky). The cottage is just what we were looking for, all the mod cons but sill loads of character. Getting the coastal bus to Wells and walking back to Blakeney was wonderful. Good food at the King's Arms.

Kate H,

Happy New Year! Thank you the cottage was perfect for us - we keep returning to this part of Norfolk and will happily & comfortably stay at Cuckoo Cottage again. There were 1000s of seal pups on at Blakeney Point a great trip on New Year's Day. We enjoyed a couple of meals at The Bluebell at Langham - Great pub and food - thanks for the recommendation. Enjoyed some of our favourite places / walks - Holt, Cley, Cromer, Wells & Holkham. We were so lucky with the weather - wild and big blue skies. Thank you again and warm regards.

The Martin Party,

Beautiful cottage, very comfortable and clean. Lovely bedding and soft towels. Enjoyed the log burner, the Christmas decorations and thank you for the welcome tray. Very well equipped kitchen - perfect for Christmas dinner. Lovely area - The Temples seal trips are well worth a visit - quite an experience seals, birdlife and land/seascape. Our first trip to Norfolk - had a very enjoyable week. Thank you.
