Reviews

Cosy cottage well equipped in all parts of the accommodation. First class kitchen and very comfy bed . Easy journey to the coast and Norwich.

Mrs Jackie C,

Such a beautiful place for some peace and relaxation. Robin Cottage has everything you need, and that extra little bit of thought that goes into making a special stay. The Brisley Bell is a great place to eat, lovely friendly staff. The Railway Inn was also a good meal and both the chef and owner came to speak to us at out table. Our first time in Norfolk but it wont be the last. Thank you

Past Customer,

What a perfect base for a break exploring Norfolk. So lovely to be welcomed into the property by a lovely pumpkin display outside. Everything we needed and so many thoughtful touches making the stay that extra bit special. Great time had crabbing at Cromer and Blakney, an afternoon on The Broads, lots of lovely walks and excellent theme park rides at Great Yarmouth. A holiday I’m sure we’ll talk about for many years to come. Great meals at The Kings Head too!

Past Customer,

We had a lovely cosy relaxing girly weekend at Robin Cottage! This is our second stay and we will definitely be coming back. It is decorated beautifully and has everything you could possibly need. We had a warm welcome coming into fairy lights and cosy heating. We enjoyed a wonderful walk along Holkham Beach – stunning views and a wander around Holt looking in all the cute shops! We would recommend a delicious dinner just down the road at The Kings Head or a cosy night in by the fire with a glass of prosecco. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

Past Customer,

Well, what can we say?! We have been desperate to come stay at Robin Cottage for years and now we finally made it. Such a beautiful cottage and decorated to the highest standard, we felt as if we were in an advert for the White Company! Bill & Lorraine are the most thoughtful hosts, we had everything we could ever need, a true home from home (if only our home was this beautiful! We went for a brisk but gorgeous walk on Holkham Beach, a drink at the Railway Arms (highly recommended) and a delicious Sunday lunch at The Brisley Bell. Our stay has been everything we could have wished for and we are already planning our next Norfolk adventure here. Many thanks.

Past Customer,

Fantastic cottage, everything on hand & homely. A beautiful location with easy access to all of Norfolk. The week flew past, sad to be going home! Many thanks

Past Customer,

Thank you again for letting us enjoy this lovely cottage, this isn’t my first time here and I still want to come back. We spent the day on Holkham Beach in 34C! We both managed a swim and sunburn! We stopped for a drink at The Kings Head pub and we had dinner at The Brisley Bell! Both were lovely and everyone was very friendly! Our second day was slightly cooler we drove to Cromer and had tea and cake in the Hatters Tea Room! As always, cottage is beautifully decorated, fully equipped and makes you want to go home and redecorate! Thank you again for having us on a well needed break and our first mini holiday together!

Past Customer,

We had a lovely and much needed break here in Norfolk. A great cottage with welcome added extras e.g. Alexa, but a fan would have been helpful in this extreme heat (owner – a fan has now been supplied). We visited many interesting places e.g. Holkham, Hunstanton and Sculthorpe Mill. There was very useful information in the Robin Cottage folder e.g on North Elmham, Brisley and Swanton Morely. Had a great meal at The Bell in Brisley. Many thanks

Past Customer,

We had a lovely week and really enjoyed staying in Robin Cottage. We’re really grateful to have had a fan in the front bedroom in the extreme heat. Our highlights have been Holkham Beach, Cley-on-sea, Wells (for crabbing!), Blakeny and boating on the Norfolk Broads. We also enjoyed a cycle around the woodland back in the village at the church. Lots of lovely café/tea rooms and we enjoyed meals locally at The Railway Arms + Kings Head Hotel. Many thanks.

Past Customer,

Really lovely cottage, cosy & well equipped. Great location for Holkham, Sherringham and Cromer. Didn’t get to eat locally but great pint at The Kings Head with spacious garden. Hope to be back before too long.

Past Customer,

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cosy cottage with us. You have thought of everything for a perfect stay! Highly recommend boating on The Broads at Wroxham and Sandringham is worth a visit. Food at The Railway and The Bell at Brisley both excellent. We hope to be back very soon.

Past Customer,

Lovely property, cottage very clean and well appointed. Very nice village, with good pubs to eat out, and a very good fish and chip shop. Enjoyed our stay.
