Larling is a small village twenty one miles south west of Norwich, in an area known as The Brecks. Reputed to be one of the driest areas of the country, here you will find rolling farmland, open heaths and pine forests, much of it designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and home to rare birds such as the Stone Curlew and Nightjars. Larling is  close to the famous Snetterton Circuit, a must visit place for all motor sport enthusiasts. Reviews

We had an amazing time in Norfolk, largely due to the kindness of the owners, who were very welcoming and recommended places for us to go. Our family enjoyed stroking the horses at the bottom of the garden and the accommodation was spacious for a family of 5 with a baby, yet felt warm and cosy. Thank you so much for the lovely welcome groceries too! We’ll be in touch next time we come to Norfolk to visit our family again!Rev Paul Walker - 28th October 2018
Very pleasant place to stay and would certianly love to stay again. Rachael and Dudley are excellent hosts - the welcome pack is very good and the eggs are outstanding. Well stocked bookcases, plus lots of thoughtful touches were also nice to see .Mrs Judith Larbalestier - 14th October 2018
A lovely cottage, with good access to attractions in Norfolk.Mr Robin Burrows - 22nd May 2018
2nd visit here. The property is very home from home, the owners go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Billy the dog is a cutie! Hope to visit again in future.Mrs H Evers - 2nd January 2018
The first cottage that we have stayed in (and there have been many) that has lived up to its 5 star rating. Lights and heating on when you arrive in the cold and dark is a lovely touch. The hamper and free eggs and milk in the fridge were very welcome. Loads to do in the area and further afield. Enjoyed days out to Banham Zoo - fab, Minsmere - Superb, Titchwell, Lakenheath, Cambridge - Uni's are outstanding - even managed a couple of sunny days at the seasides of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft (lovely meal on the seafront at Iconic - great value too!). Leaving for home relaxed and rested but will return as still lots more to be seen and done in Norfolk/Suffolk. Thank you.The Clegg Party - 15th November 2017
Very generous welcome pack. Everything we needed was supplied e.g. all the basics were covered plus one or two surprises. Owners very pleasant and helpful. Outlook superb and cottage very comfortable. Would not hesitate to recommend the property or to return to it ourselves.Ms Janet Holmes - 11th October 2017
Had a lovely week, cottage was of a high standard - one of the best cottages we've stayed in. The Angel serves excellent food but need to book - also the Old Bell at Saham Toney! The New Market Stud Tour is well worth a trip so is the boat on the Broads and visiting Sandringham. Dudley and Rachael are very friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble. Our first time to Norfolk and we will be back. The Miflin Party - 15th September 2017
What a lovely property and warm welcome with the best welcome pack we've had at any property. Stunning location and really enjoyed seeing the variety of wildlife when exploring the surrounding fields and woods. Great base for exploring Norfolk and North Suffolk - really enjoyed it! Thanks Rachael and Dudley - five stars from us! The Coward Party - 18th August 2017
First visit to Norfolk and what a treat to spend it in such a well equipped cottage. Many thanks for the welcome pack and friendly greeting and hospitality. Plenty to do and see with enjoyable trips to Oxburgh Hall, Bessingham Gardens and Norwich to name a few! Thank you!The Brooks Party - 14th July 2017
This is the 5th time my mum and I have stayed here - we call it our second home! High quality fixtures and fittings, a fabulous welcome hamper and the owners are just so welcoming. We love the fact you can sit and look out at the horses and donkeys from the kitchen and lounge area. Great location just off the A11 makes it easy to find as well. The Ward Party - 21st May 2017
We have had such a great week in you lovely cottage. Thank you for the thoughtful welcome hamper. Lovely sitting out on the patio watching the wildlife especially a little owl in the huge chestnut tree by the stables. We were very lucky one night to catch a glimpse a stag at the bottom of the paddock along the edge of the woods. The river walk, via the church, was lovely. A week is never long enough - must stay longer next time. The Harris Party - 5th May 2017
