Worstead is a small, historical Norfolk village, with a pub just 100m from the cottage. The location is perfectly positioned for accessing many of the regions’ tourist attractions. The beautiful Georgian town of Aylsham is close by and just beyond, is the National Trust’s Blickling Hall, the former home of Anne Boleyn, with beautiful gardens and grounds. From Aylsham you could also venture to The Broads via the Bure Valley Railway, a heritage steam train ride that takes you directly into Wroxham. Here there are over 125 miles of waterways to explore, nature trails to walk and pretty villages to discover. The east coast has some beautiful sandy beaches and shallow waters and a day out a little further north in Cromer, a lively seaside town with its famous pier, should not be missed. The north Norfolk coast, much of which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is within easy reach and for culture vulture’s the city of Norwich beckons in less than half an hour.
