Ludham is a pretty Broadland village with a splendid flint church, picturesque tea room, good village shop and pub. There are excellent walks from Ludham along both the rivers Ant and Thurne and at nearby Hunters Yard, boating enthusiasts can hire an authentic 1930's sailing yacht, whilst How Hill  and the National Nature Reserve of Ludham & Potter Heigham Marshes all have lovely riverside walks.  The east coast beaches are all within easy reach for watersports, family days out and bracing walks or why not take the family to a treehouse, via jungle bridges and zip wire runs in the 50 acres of Bewilderwood at Hoveton.

St. Benet's is set in a very peaceful area, down a quiet lane and surrounded by fields with the broads within easy reach. The property is large with a good amount of space, and the outhouse for the washing machine was handy. The property is a little worn, and - with the exception of the extension - the main building is quite dark indoors with restricted natural light and dark furniture (presumably traditional). The front garden area is lovely although side dining space needs a coat of paint.

Dr H,

We all thought the property was well equipped & exactly what we hoped & expected, the location was easy to find & 20 mins walk away from the village, local pub was excellent & the food was great, the booking process was very straight forward & the couple of small issues we had were dealt with swiftly & with no problems what so ever, would definitely use again

mr T,
