Horning is nestled alongside the River Bure in the heart of The Broads National Park. A holiday here offers great variety for all ages, with visits to nature reserves, fishing, walks, sailing, kayaking, canoeing and of course your own private boat as some of the attractions to enjoy from the cottage itself. Close by is the lively village of Wroxham where a steam train ride will take you along the Bure Valley to Aylsham.  The coastal stretch between Sea Palling and Winterton-on-Sea is under half an hour away and offers wide stretches of sandy beaches often unpopulated, even in the summer. The cultural delights of Norwich are also within easy reach, making Horning a brilliant holiday location.

We had an excellent week, Marshmere was perfect, very comfortable, and very well equipped. We enjoyed several trips on Fair Sailing, to Ranworth, Ludham. How Hill and Wroxham as well as one or two shorter trips; my 86 year old father in law used to own a boat in Bridlington and he loved every minute of it! He also used to be in the RAF so a visit to the Neatishead radar museum was a real highlight, and even the doubters in our party found that surprisingly enjoyable and interesting. Plus the Hippodrome circus/water spectacle in Great Yarmouth was another slightly unexpected delight. We'd love to come again at some point; time will tell! With many thanks again. The Maude Party - 6th August 2016
The holiday property was a real home from home. We didn't want for anything. Very peaceful & relaxing, would highly recommend.Mr C Richardson - 11th July 2016
