Great Plumstead is a small rural village just five miles east of the cathedral city of Norwich and is centrally located for enjoying the diverse range of attractions in the area including the Broads. Meander by boat through the waterways and enjoy lunch at one of the numerous riverside pubs. The East Coast is just a short distance away with its sandy beaches and the traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth. Norwich with its culture, castle, theatre, cafes and shopping opportunities is not to be missed. The area is excellent for enjoying bird watching and exploring wildlife at a wide variety of fens including our own adopted charity, Wheatfen.

We have stayed at numerous holiday cottages but this was the best by far. The whole process was stress free and on our arrival we were met by the lovliest couple. We were delighted with the accommodation and everything in it. Please pass on our thanks to Maggie & Simon. Pease amend your directions as there is no shop in the vicinity.

Mr Ray B,

Thoroughly enjoyed a week in this property which is very comfortable, well equipped and in a quiet location. We even had beautiful weather. It is very well placed for visiting all of Norfolk and we were made very welcome by our charming hosts.

Mr Suzanne B,

A fantastic first visit to Norfolk thanks to the 5 star accommodation lovely late summer weather and the beautiful location. Our hosts made us very welcome and the flowers, lemon cake and starter pack were greatly appreciated. Many thanks for a great holiday.

Suzanne B,

Superb accommodation and excellent location for exploring the area. We loved the tranquillity of the gardens after busy days out. Several highlights; seals at Horsey and the fabulous workhouse at Gressenhall, not forgetting Wroxham.

Stuart K,

Lovely, well equipped accommodation. We loved the quiet, the rural "feel" and yet close to memorable destinations: Wroxham, Sandringham, Morston, Norwich... Thank you so very much!

The Wittenberg Party,

This was one of the very best cottages that we have stayed in. The owners made us very welcome and we really appreciated the 'Welcome Pack' of basic items, milk, bread, wine, etc that was provided. We will definitely visit again!!
