Newly refurbished, this lovely coastal holiday home has been put together with style and makes a super retreat at any time of the year. Sea Palling is a small coastal village with open fields and marshland to one side and sand dunes the other. Take advantage of its proximity to the beautiful sandy beach, which is a short walk away, as are the village shop, pub and beach café. All on one level, everything is here for a comfortable stay. The main bedroom features a king size bed, there is a well-equipped kitchen and a multi-fuel stove in the living/dining room to keep you warm on cooler days. From the village there is plenty to explore. The seal colony at Horsey, with seal pups a-plenty over the winter months, is just down the coast and whilst there drop into the quirky café for a taste of Dad’s Army culture and delicious food. The Broads are within easy reach and just inland from the village are both Weavers’ Way for great walking and National Cycle Route 4 if two wheels rather than two legs are more your thing! The world is your oyster with a stay at Sea Palling. The beaches along this stretch of the east coast are sandy and safe, Sea Palling is a Blue Flag Beach and there are 5 more to choose from between here and Sheringham further up the coast. The hinterland behind the village is a joy to explore with its Quiet Lanes, which are designated places for walkers, cyclists and riders and in the main the roads are kept as traffic free as possible. The Broads National Park is easily accessible and a beautiful area to discover with its 125 miles of inland waterways, pretty villages and the Bure Valley Steam Railway, which runs from Wroxham to Aylsham. With plenty of local farm shops and good pubs in the area showcasing the best of Norfolk produce, this lesser known part of the county could easily become a favourite to return to time and again.

Well equipped bungalow situated in a quiet cul de sac with just a short walk over the dyke to a sandy beach. The bungalow was furnished to a high quality and was more like a home than a holiday rental. Lovely secluded garden with a choice of seating areas. Ideal location for walking or spending days on the beach.

Mrs W,

Very secure back garden for your dog, lovely clean villa, very quiet cul-de-sac. Only 10 minutes to one of the best dog friendly beaches in Norfolk - and seals to watch you while you walk. You can easily fill your week with places to go or stay and chill in comfort.

Mrs B,

Very well equipped and comfortable bungalow in a perfect location for a beautiful sandy beach and also very close to visit all of The Broads. We loved having a safe traffic free, short stroll to the beach, and hiring a boat on The Broads for the day. Plenty to do in the surrounding area too, great days picking a picnic spot on The Broads watching the boats go by. We all had a great holiday and would book through Norfolk Cottages again.

Mrs M,

This property is immaculately clean well catered for with equipment. Perfect location 10 mins to beach. In a very quiet area. I would struggle to find anything negative about this property. Maybe a tv where you could watch netflixs/ prime - but that is really the best I can do and not really a deal breaker considering all the plus points.Central to a lot of places. Great for couples and families and dogs good enclosed garden to keep your pets and children safe not overlooked. I would not hesitate about returning to this property. Despite the inclement weather we had a wonderful stay.

Ms W,

Lovely property very quiet area nice place to relax. Short walk to lovely beaches.

Mrs R,

Seahorses is located in a small quiet close very close to the dog friendly beach. The property is small but of a high standard and extremely clean with everything you need provided. We had a great week and were lucky with the weather. Plenty of seals to watch. Our dogs came home exhausted! We would book again.

Mrs E,

Well presented and equipped with attention to detail

Mr A,

We enjoyed our stay here immaculate standard and lovely comfy beds couldn’t ask for more.

Ms W,
