Set on a riverside in the stunning Norfolk Broads, this pretty home was once part of a maltings building and has now been thoughtfully converted to a pleasant holiday home which welcomes four guests. You will have your own private balcony overlooking the waterfront and access to a heated, indoor swimming pool.
On arrival, park up your car in one of the two private spaces and head into this reverse level, characterful home. Upstairs on the first floor, set beneath a beamed, vaulted ceiling, is the bright and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Create tasty meals in the well-equipped kitchen and eat together at the dining table set in front of windows overlooking the river. The lounge area has plenty of seating where you can curl up and rest of an evening, and flick on the Smart TV to catch up your favourite shows. Downstairs are the two welcoming bedrooms, one is a double and the other a twin. The double has an en-suite shower room while the twin has an en-suite bathroom, making getting ready for the days’ adventures easy. From the lounge, you can access a furnished balcony which overlooks the river below, and a separate patio on the ground floor has a space to sit and unwind. You will also find a small gym area, a sauna, and a heated, indoor swimming pool available for use, shared with the neighbouring properties.
Exploring the Norfolk Broads is super easy from this waterside spot. Grab a bite to eat or pick up bits from the shops in Stalham (2 miles) or Smallburgh, 1.5 miles away. Enjoy a day at the beach at the quiet and quaint village of Happisburgh (6 miles) or the bustling seaside resort of Cromer (16 miles). If you fancy a day visiting the local wildlife, Bure Marshes National Nature Reserve is just 11 miles away.
