Cosy yet stylish, this home-from-home apartment will be instantly appealing to any two guests. Step inside and find the well-equipped kitchen with space for dining, a charming place to rustle up a delicious, hearty meal. The lounge invites you to get curled up after dinner, with cushy sofas and a Smart TV to settle into. Next door, you’ll find your king-size bedroom. Finally, a family bathroom completes the interior. Moving outside, a lawned garden offers space to sit with your morning coffee or last drink of the evening, breathing in that fresh sea air.

For days on the beach, head to nearby Wells-next-the-Sea Beach just 2.5 miles away, with Holkham Beach accessible a little bit further along the coast (5 miles). Both destinations are connected by the Norfolk Coast Path, a long, stretched-out coastal walking route that’s dotted with incredible beauty spots. Get to know the Norfolk coast and all of the sea birds and fantastic animals along it with a long hike along this pathway. Follow this route to Blakeney Point (9.5 miles) to spot seals basking in the water.

Cottage location was excellent opposite nature reserve with red kites flying over property, less than a mile from beautiful sandy beach, and easy access to Holkham Hall estate. Perfect dog-friendly property with private and secure garden for dogs to hang out in. Lovely spot to just sit and enjoy morning cuppa and breakfast in the garden. We had such a lovely stay here! Our dog loved the little garden (and the dog biscuits) and we sat outside and ate breakfast each morning in the sunshine. The cottage was very clean, beautifully presented and in a lovely location. The garden is overlooked as its along the main road but this didnt bother us as it wasnt too busy. Superb location being within 10/15 minutes of the beach and parkland/attractions. Comfortable, well equipped and cosy apartment - would return.

(apart from The Victoria hotel restaurant being closed on our first two evenings) we particularly liked the location. On the first two days we had two excellent long walks without needing to use our car - to the Holkham nature reserve and to Holkham Hall, park and lake.

Very cute cottage, well presented but much more spacious than the photos. It was a lovely place to spend a few days after getting married at Holkham Hall.

Holm Oak Hideaway 1 is a wonderful place to stay. Just outside the main estate in Holkham village with easy walks to Holkham estate, beach and nature reserve.

As with the other reviews, this is a comfortable, well-equipped cottage in a handy location. The welcome pack and parking permits (Wells-next-the-sea, and Holkham park and beach road) and shop discount were a handy addition. Definitely one to recommend and to come back to.

A really lovely little place to stay. Biscuits and dog biscuits there on arrival, particularly nice after a long drive! The scenery was lovely, it was great to be able to spend a day at the beach, another walking in the woods, another on the vast estate. As others have said, the way the garden is, it didn't feel worth it to have our dog off the leaRead mored,the hedge wasn't entirely enclosed. That really wasn't a problem; he was too tired out from all of the walks to worry! A nice kitchen, with a microwave, a toaster, a good fridge and freezer. Clean cooker and pots; well-maintained. Clean towels and bedding, and the floors were easy to clean on the couple of days it rained. The estate is really beautiful, and we appreciated the little eco touches (such as scrub brushes for dishes). We actually bought some of these in the Hall shop! Oh, and those who mentioned the tv in the bedroom - it has now been moved. Hide

A delightful period property on the magnificent Holkham Estate,ideally located close to the main estate entrance and the Victoria Hotel as well as the National Nature Reserve. Kitchen adequately fitted with all new Chinese equipment, bathroom lacks adequate shelving/storage for sponge bags etc which would be very easily remedied

PERFECT! A lovely location on the Holkham estate. A secure garden for the dogs. Very peaceful despite proximity to the road. Book a table at The Victoria at least once (we also had breakfast on our departure day- dogs made very welcome) Glorious walks to the beach and round the acres of the estate. Will return.

Lovely property, clean and well equipped. Good location to walk to the beach. Nice enclosed garden for the dog but there is a path in front of it which might cause some dogs to bark. One thing to note is the only TV is in the bedroom and not the lounge area which we didnt find an issue.

Mirrors need moving to a more convenient place. No one needs a full length mirror in the bathroom. Mirror would be better close to the wash basin. In the bedroom a dressing table would be better than lamp stand for makeup and hair drying.
