A gorgeous property set over two levels is perfect for families or friends looking for a peaceful holiday in the beautiful rural countryside of Norfolk. Briston is a charming village in North Norfolk, and there are walks around the area from your doorstep. The Georgian market town of Holt is just four miles away, offering a range of galleries, eateries, independent shops and access to Holt Country Park, which has 100 acres of mixed woodland for exploring. This property is a great base to explore the countryside and coastline.

This spacious property, formerly a barn, is now a stylishly furnished contemporary getaway for families and friends. Downstairs has a delightful open-plan living/dining area with plenty of comfortable seating for relaxing while chatting, playing games or watching your favourite box sets on the Smart TV. The kitchen has everything you need to make meal preparation a breeze. There are two bedrooms downstairs - both super-king-size with a Smart TV - one with an en-suite shower and one with an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs you’ll find three super-king-size bedrooms with a Smart TV and an en-suite shower room. Outside is also a wonderful space with a lawn, decked area, garden furniture, and a BBQ to make the most of outdoor dining. A shared games room with the other four properties on the site means there are also activities for rainy days.

Holt (4 miles) is at one end of The Poppy Line, a route that links to the coastal town of Sheringham, home to a lovely beach, a golf course and for walkers’ access to the North Norfolk Coast Path. Many wonderful beaches are within a short drive, including Wells-next-the-Sea (14 miles), where you walk along the quay and Cromer (15 miles). Salthouse and Cley-next-the-Sea are great birdwatching locations less than 10 miles away.

Beautiful location. Very tranquil with easy access to local areas however a car would be essential. Spotlessly clean and fully equipped. Lovely setting with a pond and resident ducks and a fully equipped games room for the kids.

Absolutely lovely property - even better than the photos! Spotlessly clean throughout with everything you could possibly need. Lovely big open plan area which was great for cooking, eating, relaxing together. The games room is fantastic and our four grandchildren loved it - plenty to keep children and adults amused. The property was great and with more than sufficient space for our party of 9. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you might need. The additional fridge was definitely required and used. I was especially pleased by the response and prompt assistance from Tim when any minor issues were raised with him, and also helpful contact he made Read moreto alert us to a recommended place which he happened to be passing with his partner. Sited in a good position for venturing out to some lovely spots in North Norfolk. The games room and outside play areas were a bonus, and well used by the 3 grandchildren with us - and the adults! Really enjoyed our stay, beautiful property in a peaceful location. Loved the local wildlife and felt we had everything we needed including some extra treats provided by the hosts. Some great local places to visit and eat close by - would definitely recommend.

Three generations of Archibalds spent a sunny July week at The Mill. Its the perfect property for a family holiday with all the home comforts provided. Set in a great location to visit all the local attractions but also a haven of peace and tranquility to relax unwind and play. The local shops were a real asset and we used the local butcher for allRead more our BBQ needs. And the games room and play field were a real bonus. Most evenings we would go down for an hour or so to unwind and have some fun together. The owners were on hand to deal with any issues and we felt very well looked after from beginning to end. Great property for all. We were a mixed group of family and friends including a young child and the property was perfect for everyone. The kitchen was filled with useful pots/pans/tupperware/utensils etc that you don't normally find in other holiday lettings so this was great! This was a great property to get all the family together in. A big open plan lay out was ideal but we each had the refuge of our own rooms and en-suite facilities. Everything you could expect was provided and the games room was a good bonus that we made the most of. Would recommend.
