Ideal for families looking to explore the Norfolk coast and beyond, this property sits in a quiet location but is just 200 yards from the centre of the popular Georgian town of Holt.

Immerse yourselves in the Norfolk market town of Holt when you stay at this inviting cottage with a lawned garden. Stroll out from the four-bedroom property, which welcomes six guests and a pair of dogs, to wander the narrow streets and yards, discover the many independent shops, and dine out in pubs, cafes and restaurants. Plan walks through the beautiful Norfolk countryside or head to the coast, 4 miles away. Go swimming at Salthouse or Weybourne, or head to Cley, also about 4 miles away, to walk across the marshes.

Enter the cottage and find yourselves in a sunny, elegant lounge. Lay an open fire in here, find a film on the Smart TV/DVD or steal a few quiet moments to yourself with your book. Head through to the dining room to light the wood burner, then make your way into the kitchen to prepare a fabulous feast with your own ingredients. On warm days, open the French windows in the dining room instead. Make the most of the dishwasher during your stay, as well as the washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room. Find you have a ground-floor shower room. Climb the stairs to the family bathroom on the first floor; a king-size room and a double are also here, while two single bedrooms are on the floor above. Spill out into the garden on sunny days; sizzle supper on the BBQ and watch the children play. There is parking for one car, with additional space in pay and display car parks.

Visit the National Trust’s Sheringham Park, 5 miles away, with its abundance of rhododendrons. Make your way into Sheringham, 2 miles beyond, to visit the museum, with its enclosed viewing tower, or picnic on the beach and swim in the sea.

  • Can be booked together with 87147 to accommodate a maximum of 11 guests
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

A fabulous, tastefully decorated house. Very clean and comfortable and so well equipped. Completely enclosed garden and perfect location for the shops, cafes, restaurants. Also fabulous dog walks, all within walking distance, especially Spouts Hill country park which. has a beautiful pond, stream and wild flower meadows. Owner could not have been mRead moreore helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out! All resolved very quickly. This is our 2nd stay in the house and I would highly recommend it! Hide

Holt is a wonderful place to stay. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. It is a real bonus when holidaying with family and preparing some family dinners to have a dish washer. Local restaurants and all amenities are within walking distance.

Perfect location, clean well equipped home. Fully enclosed garden excellent for the dog and not over looked either. Gap between Hand rail on stairs was a bit narrow in places but fine if you weren't relying on it to hold onto. Sorting office were not too noisy and there weren't any disruptions to sleep. The cottage is basic but in a great town location, If you have a large car or more than one parking will likely be a bit of an issue unless you are really lucky and find an available space 5 mins walk up the road. We had a nice stay and it was adequate for 6 adults but there were some basics which disappointed us; We arrived to no toilet roll, no hRead moreand wash, no washing up sponges/cloths and about 1mm of washing up liquid. Quilt covers weren't buttoned up and the open fire isn't usable. Hide

A nice cottage very well placed in central Holt. Parking for a second car tricky. Fire in the lounge is not usable, despite being advertised. TV reception sometimes poor, but has Prime, Netflix etc. Good beds and well appointed.

Excellent cottage in great location for the North Norfolk coast. Please note there is only room for a small car on the drive but parking along the main road is not too much of a problem.
