Thornham is a quiet picturesque village that forms part of the conservation area on the North West Norfolk Coast. There is a wide sandy beach and a small harbour, both of which form part of a local nature reserve. There are some excellent pub/restaurants in the village one of which has won an award in 2010. The coastal town of Hunstanton is just four miles away, it has a sandy beach and many attractions for children. The Coast Hopper bus can take you to Wells, the RSPB reserve at Titchwell and villages including Brancaster and Burnham Market, an excellent opportunity to leave the car behind and enjoy the scenery.
Fantastic location and well proportioned property. Definitely suitable for large families or 5 couples.
Incredible location - so close to the beautiful salt marshes, crabbing for the kids, gorgeous walks, the local pub, deli and park. Really comfortable beds and lounges. Peaceful location too.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Admirals Lodge in Thornham; the location of the property is excellent and the house was lovely with rooms that were large and beautifully furnished. There are three downstairs bedrooms with the kitchen and living rooms on the first floor accessed by a spiral staircase with quite slippery laminate treads so this is something to bear in mind if anyone in the party has mobility issues.
Large spacious property in a great location close to walks, beach, pub and deli. Enclosed garden for the dog and very peaceful.
A beautiful ‘home from home’ by the sea.
