Thornham is a quiet picturesque village that forms part of the conservation area on the North West Norfolk Coast. There is a wide sandy beach and a small harbour, both of which form part of a local nature reserve. There are some excellent pub/restaurants in the village one of which won Good Pub Guide's Dining Pub of the Year 2017. The coastal town of Hunstanton is just four miles away, it has a sandy beach and many attractions for children. The Coast Hopper bus can take you to Wells, the RSPB reserve at Titchwell and villages including Brancaster and Burnham Market, an excellent opportunity to leave the car behind and enjoy the scenery.

Wonderful to be back! We have missed the Old Garage - always our favourite holiday home. We have had a really relaxing holiday and made the most of the heatwave. The Westgates - 11th August 2018
We have had a mega week with v.high temperatures - up to 35! Ending today with thunderstorms and heavy rain. We have fitted in Sea World, Bircham Windmill (great visit!) Dinosaur world and many trips to the beach to make "sand villages" Your home makes a brilliant base. Everything here that we could possibly need. Many thanks. The Whitaker Party - 28th July 2018
The Old Garage was a lovely place to stay, and Thornham itself is a lovely village, the Deli is great for breakfasts, and the Lifeboat Inn and Chequers pub are well worth a visit also. Dinner at The Orange Tree is also recommended! Mr Alan Hudson - 18th July 2018
We have had a lovely week in your beautiful house, even on the cloudy days. It was my first time in North Norfolk and we be back for sure. Thornham is a lovely village, The Deli breakfasts are highly recommended. The Hudson Party - 14th July 2018
Fab weekend away and the property was in a beautiful location and had everything we needed for us all. Mrs Laura Hall - 4th April 2018
Thank you for the fab weekend (despite the weather). The cottage was great, loved being in Norfolk again. Hope to see you again soon! The Wade family - 2nd April 2018
Thank you so much for a wonderful week. A fab Christmas gift for the children and an opportunity to all catch up together. We've loved North Norfolk for many years, and this week has emphasised to us why that is so! Fantastic warm house with an excellent selection of board games and within walking distance of several brilliant pubs! Thank you!Leverington party - 24th February 2018
Amazing walks and views, a beautiful and clean house with lots of room and comfort. A roaring fire to relax even the most excited of children. More than enough room making it a luxury place to stay in. Thank you. Thornham beach is nearby and we had a lovely walk there, we have a dog and I think he enjoyed it as much as we did.The Williamson party - 17th February 2018
Sitting by the glorious open fire writing this! We have had a wonderful Christmas week, full of lots of long walks, good food, trips to the Lifeboat for an evening pint and cosy Christmas films. The Kiwis among us loved the coast and we all feel very rested. Thank you so much for all the little extra touches like the wreath on the door, tree and foodie/beverage treats! Our little border terrier, Beatrix, loved her stay as well as the dog treats. We recommend Drove Orchard Farm Shop and Gurneys Fish Shop for fresh produce (we even shucked our own oysters!), Lifeboat pub for drinks, White Horse pub for a special meal, and walks: Thornham across the marsh to the beach, Burnham Overy Staithe to Holkham, and Burnham Overy Staithe to Brancaster Staithe all across marshes and beaches. The Britton Party - 30th December 2017
