With the North Norfolk coastal path just a few minutes’ walk away and some great eateries, pubs and a great deli and farm shop within the village there is no need to go far! Enjoy the outdoor life, there is plenty to do in Thornham. Take a walk along the coastal path, though the saltmarshes and harbour spotting the fishing boats nestled amid the creeks. Enjoy the sound of birdsong, a real bird watchers paradise on the beautiful peaceful walk to the unspoilt vast sandy beach. Once you get there you will realise why it is one of the finest beaches in the UK. Take a picnic, soak up the sun, sunbathe or just enjoy the quiet bay. Now a picturesque village made even more popular with a number of great eateries and pubs, village deli and café. Just on the outskirts is The Drove Orchards with its farm shop - known for its apple juice, Erics fish and chips, Shucks at the Yurt and a number of various boutique shops. The coastal road has a lot to offer, the neighbouring village of Titchwell is a hot spot for birdwatchers, whilst Brancaster Staithe is well known for its sailing and is still a thriving fishing harbour today. Take a boat trip and explore the coastline to Scolt Head Island enjoying the wildlife and fabulous views.
