Sedgeford is a quiet village wonderfully placed to discover the many delights Norfolk has to offer.  The village itself has a friendly country Inn,  The King William IV - just half a mile away from the cottage where you can enjoy a Sunday roast in front of the cosy fire. There are wonderful sandy beaches at the nearby coastal villages of Brancaster and Brancaster Staithe, along with numerous coastal walks along the Norfolk coastal path with popular pubs and fine eateries there is so much to explore.

At nearby Heacham is the home of Norfolk Lavender. With world famous lavender gardens, oil distillery and tea shop it is a great day out for all the family. A fascinating animal garden with petting barn is perfect for younger children to explore and on rainy days an indoor play barn is perfect for letting off steam! The popular village of Burnham Market is a ten minute drive, enjoy an array of boutique shops, delis and fine eateries. For a more traditional day out visit the popular Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton where you can enjoy pony rides on the beach, take a ride on the fun fair or visit the Sea Life Centre. From the prom you can take a trip on the Wash Monster, an amphibious vessel where you can enjoy seal spotting too!

Reviews

What a beautiful welcoming cottage, it was absolutely perfect and have had a lovely time. Will be back.

Liz W,

We were delighted ! Even better than the photos which does not normally happen ! A really lovely property with lots of space for four grandsons ages 7 -14 , our two daughters and us their mum , dad . Plus a secure garden for the boys and our dog . Excellent parking for three medium sized cars as we travelled from three different parts of the country. We really recommend. Thankyou , Tuesday House .

Mrs Maureen B,

We had an excellent stay here - spacious accommodation and garden ideal for young children. Highlight was seeing the Household Cavalry exercising horses on Holkham Beach.

Paul B,

Lovely spacious house in a great central location and once again well presented and nice and clean. We stayed there last year and booked this years holiday as soon as we returned home as the property is perfect for our requirements.. More than spacious enough for our family of 6 and my wife's parents. I would recommend this property to any big family. Lovely enclosed gardens to the back and front with your own courtyard for parking. Lots of kids attractions within about an hour or so for the further ones like Roarr, Dinosaur Adventure (50 mins away), Banham Zoo (60 mins away), Hunstanton beach and seafront shows and amusements (10 mins away), Farmer Freds Playbarn, (5 mins away) plus lots more to see and do. There is at least 4 major supermarkets from 5 mins away to 20 mins away.

Mr GRAEME M,

Lovely spacious property to good standard. An absolutely lovely space for our weekend away. Thank you.

Margaret R,
