Situated in a picturesque village within a mile of the stunning coastline, you can easily spend your days between the golden beaches and unspoiled Norfolk countryside when you stay at this traditional cottage. Sleeping five guests across three bedrooms, it’s a great choice for memorable family holidays, and there’s plenty of room for everyone to relax and socialise after a wonderful day outdoors.

Gather in the bright and spacious lounge, complete with a cosy wood burner and comfortable furnishings. When you fancy rustling up some snacks, the well-equipped kitchen has everything you could need and a separate dining room offers a wonderful setting for family meals, with doors opening to the pretty garden. Upstairs, you'll find three inviting bedrooms - one king-size, one double, and one single, all served by the family bathroom. On sunny days, soak up the rays in the fully enclosed garden, with dining furniture and a BBQ. Drinks and meals seem to taste even better when enjoyed outdoors with everyone you love - and here, you'll have the perfect setting.

If you fancy a night off from cooking, there's an excellent village pub within half a mile of the cottage. For a traditional bucket-and-spade resort, make the short 4-mile drive to the Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton. Here, there are beaches, shops and attractions, including the Sea Life Centre, where you can observe marine life such as sharks and piranhas, as well as orphaned pups in the Seal Rescue Hospital. Just 3 miles away is Heacham, where you’ll find more fantastic days out such as Norfolk Lavender, and the Peddars Way walking trail which links with the Norfolk Coast Path.

a very well appointed cottage, very comfortable, really appreciated kind welcome bag of goodies. if you;re a light sleeper, the road infront is busy and quite noisy - others may not find this to be the case.

Very disappointed with parking location, access was poor and possibility of parking on main road or side road is none due to other local residents parking. We felt this property to be expensive compared to others we have stayed in - only one toilet and very limited supply of toilet tissue/hand soap etc for potentially 5 adult occupants; no barbecuRead moree or parasol; disappointed that there was no opportunity for a discount for a reduced occupancy. We were pleased with the complementary treats bag of apple juice, bottle of beer, cookies and jam although the milk had been forgotten! Hide

Such a lovely part of Norfolk to stay in. Sedgeford is lovely and quiet but close to all the things you need. A few miles drive in each direction and there is always somewhere new to find. we listened to the recommendation for the Chinese in Heacham above and agree, its a great place!

Sedgeford is a great place to start exploring North Norfolk. The close by villages of Heacham, Hunstanton and slightly further of Burnham Market and Wells all have lots to offer. The restaurants along the coast line are fab and our favourite was actually The Jolly Sailors in Brancaster. Lion Cottage made our stay very easy and we cant wait to returRead moren here. Hide

Lion Cottage is a great property and we will be recommending to all our friends and family. The area is great and the property is close to all amenities and then away from the hussle and bussle of busier towns, which is nice! The local bird watching is brilliant and we cant wait to return to Norfolk next year to explore some more.

Very comfortable scrupulously clean and well kept property in a very central location for anyone wanting to visit the bird watching hot spots of Norfolk (and Lakenheath in Suffolk). Only 8 miles from Snettisham and Titchwell RSPB reserves and 25 miles from the iconic Cley bird reserve.
