Hunstanton is a popular traditional seaside town, with a long sandy beach backed by distinctive striped cliffs. There are reminders of its Victorian origins including the promenade, the large green and the attractive esplanade gardens. Hunstanton town offers a host of activities for the family including a Sea Life Centre, a fun fair, tennis courts, bowling green and a sports and leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, crazy golf and pitch & putt course. A little further along is quieter Old Hunstanton, which is a picturesque village with mellow carrstone houses, an impressive medieval church and a championship golf course, there is also a new eighteen hole golf course at nearby Heacham Manor. The nature reserves at Scolt Head, Titchwell and Holme Dunes are just a short distance away. The coastal footpaths in the area are great for walking and bird watching opportunities. The Royal Sandringham Estate is approximately eight miles away, a wonderful day out with its cycling, walking and picnic opportunities.
A very good cottage in a beautiful, friendly, peaceful area.
Ideal location to walk into Hunstanton along the seafront. Plenty of books and toys for David to play with. A lovely stay - thank you.
Super time in a very well equipped house. Ideal for little children - thank you. first time in this house and loved it. Can recommend Eric's Fish & Chips.
Lovely, comfortable house in great location. very well equipped.
Our second stay in this nice holiday home. A good base for all of our favourite localities - Brancaster staithe, Burnham Overy Staithe, Blakeney etc. Also our favourite pub - The Lifeboat at Thornham. Fish & chips in Hunstanton are good.
The location of the property was excellent...we had 4 excellent eateries in a walkable distance...and the beaches were incredible
