Ingoldisthorpe is a small picturesque village situated about eight miles to the north of King's Lynn and within a short drive of the nearby villages of Dersingham to the South and Snettisham to the North. This is a convenient location for easy access to a good range of local amenities together with the coasts, countryside and Royal Norfolk.
The village is situated on the edge of the Royal Estate of Sandringham, a great day can be had here for the family exploring the house, museum, gardens & woodland areas.
The family friendly seaside resort of Hunstanton with its sandy beach, striped cliffs, Sealife centre, leisure centre, novelty gift shops, traditional promenade and funfair is the place to head for plenty of fresh air and fun not forgetting the all-important ice-creams.
The Peddars Way trail offers excellent off-road cycling and walking opportunities and the historic port of King’s Lynn is just eight miles away. Here you will find museums, a weekly market, shopping centre, cinema, theatre, and a great selection of eateries.
The location is also well placed for ornithologists with excellent reserves at Titchwell and Snettisham, whatever time of the year you choose to visit you won’t be disappointed as it is easy to see why Norfolk is often described as the birdwatching capital of Britain.
