Not been to Norfolk before so enjoyed exploring the local area. Sandringham was really interesting - well worth a visit. Also had a day trip on the Norfolk Broads, visiRead moreted RSPB Titchwell Marsh where we did lots of bird spotting. Also went to Castle Rising Castle, Castle Acre Priory, and the Castle. We've had a lovely holiday, gone so fast! House is very comfortable and had everything we needed as well as being a fantastic base for visiting so many places. Being so close to the bus stop meant we could leave the car here for most days. Highly recommend the lavender farm just across the road and wish we'd got up earlier on the day we visited HolRead morekham Hall - we'll definitely be returning there one day! Had a few lovely meals at the West Norfolk pub too, plus some yummy food from 'Flames' takeaway just down Poplar. Wow - what can we say? We've visited Norfolk many times as a family over the last 20 years and bringing my own twins (who are 3) to this beautiful house was simply magical. The garden was brilliant for playing in for both children and adults, where we enjoyed water pistol fights and boules, once the kids were in bed (you'll find there in the shed!)Read more. The home itself has everything you'll need, including a great nights sleep in those lovely beds. We visited many places over our week including the brilliant Roarr Park - if you have a dinosaur fanatic, this is a must! We went to Wells, which we always enjoy for a walk, Old Hunstanton Beach, a brilliant and relaxing place for the whole family and the fair in Hunstanton where we all felt like children. We are already planning out next visit and will definitely be booking this house. Hide

Home was beautifully furnished and had everything. Only critisism is 13. 5 tog duvets on beds in the summer is way too much but duvet sheet not enough and no blankets so slept with clothes on. All holiday homes have winter duvets. I dont understand this when its 25 to 30c.

Beautiful furnishings. Spotlessly clean. Lovely garden. Plenty of plates/glasses. We have rented many cottages over many years and this was the best.
