This luxury ‘couples retreat’ is perfectly placed to explore the stunning Norfolk coastline with a variety of countryside walks and coastal paths to discover. The village itself is well equipped with local shops, three pubs and Tesco Express. The neighbouring Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton is a popular destination by foot along the promenade or by car where you will find larger supermarkets and popular High Street with a variety of local and independent shops and restaurants. There are also a number of farm shops close-by; on the outskirts of the village visit Walsingham Farmshop with fresh produce available and butchers too, or visit Norfolk Lavender with shops and garden centre wafting a stunning scented aroma of the nearby lavender fields. A short drive away you will discover Sandringham House; peruse the royal gardens and woodland walks or visit one of the many events held throughout the year. Sandringham also hosts a variety of Country Fairs too, a hi-light amongst locals and visitors too is the Sandringham Flower Show, with show gardens and floral displays in abundance - you may even where you can get a glimpse of the royals so don’t forget your camera!
Comfortable, well equipped. Access bed a bit tricky! Garden well appreciated despite a mowing issue! Thank you.
The cottage was clean, comfortable, cosy and dog friendly. In fact everything we look for. The garden was good and secure for our dog and he settled well. Information leading up to visit was good and we would book the same again.
Accommodation good, well kitted out, the only main grip was that the bed wasn’t comfortable. Also be aware that the light above the stairs is hanging by the electrical wires & in danger of falling .
Fantastic holiday cottage. Well equipped and very comfortable. On a bus route if needed
Ideal property for our short break. I dont recommend to others, likewise I like to discover for myself.
The property is lovely and very well equipped. We felt cold on arrival, and felt that the heating might have been turned on a little earlier. However, the Woodburn, and ample fuel were wonderful. Loved the enclosed garden for the dog, and we all enjoyed walking by the sea. Highly recommended
The cottage was lovely and well equipped. My two main comments would be the bed was far too soft (and commented on by other guests) and due to the nature of the cottage he space meant it was hard to get in and out of, made even harder by the soft matress. And the coffee in our welcome pack was a lovely touch but I always think with these kind of cottages have a coffee machine, my morning coffee is a luxury and I miss having that coffee each morning
Amazing attention to detail, right down to a "doggy" first aid kit !!
The only downside we found with the property was the bed & bedroom . Far too soft for us and limited or no space around bed making it difficult to get in & out especially at night .
Beautiful property which was perfect for us and a great garden for our dog. Only thing that was missing was a parasol in the garden to keep me he sun off!
Excellent dog friendly cottage in a great location. Everything needed for both two and four legged visitors. Had a lovely time and will go back.
Lovely. Cottage in peaceful quiet location but close to everything
